We visit this winery last year and had an awesome date night. Went back this year and was very disappointed. Sangria was good but couldn’t believe that they stopped serving their sandwiches Which we went there for. We planned a couples dinner their weeks prior and had to cancel unexpectedly. Glad we did because I would have been so Embarrassed to bring them, telling them how good their sandwiches were. They were first timers. Won’t be back for date night.

What a bummer.
Went here today used to be live music dinner staff to bring you wine tastings and its all gone. Definitely not #4 thing to do on jackson and we've been here 18 yrs. Place was dead had to go into bar to get tasting instead of outside on beautiful day. 730 closed down waitresses told us to bus our own tables. Shame such a great time in yrs past for Jackson.

We really enjoyed our visit. The lunch was new experience for us. They described it as a deconstructed sandwich. You made 7 or 14 choices from a long list of items. Wen it arrives your choices are arranged on a wooden platter and you pick it up and eat it in any manner you desire, enjoyed it greatly. Nice seating inside and out with some very pleasant views of the winery and Souther Michigan scenery. Also tasted their wine and purchased a couple of bottles which are also enjoyed greatly. Only disappointment was our rental car GPS could not find them so we had to have local assistance.

Extensive wine tasting and nice food in a lovely place. Relaxing and fun! Tables inside and also out on the deck. There is also a large room available for parties and I have been there for a Mother’s Day brunch and also just for wine tasting and a light dinner which we enjoyed on the deck overlooking the vineyards.

Had my daughter's birthday party here. They did an excellent job with getting the party set up and supplying the food. The adults in the party enjoyed the free wine tastings during the party. All around a good time had by all. Would definitely recommend for smallish parties. We had approx 35 people and that was about max for the space while indoors. Good for all ages.

The drive to Sandhill is worth the effort. It is nestled off the beaten path in the east side of Jackson. There are two soups everyday, homemade and the flavor is always a pleasant surprise. The sandwiches are made to order with some classics and some unusual sandwiches that you may love. I was disappointed that there is no option to build your own sandwich. (We asked.)

My wife and I took the day off work and decided to road trip around southern Michigan for a day. This was the highlight of our day! The staff was fantastic, all the other guests were smiling, and the wine far exceed our expectations. What I figured would be a quick tasting and move on turned into a couple hours of tasting, eating, and laughing with the employees. Absolutely recommend anyone adding this to their itinerary!

I have been here a few times and decided to bring my mom and sister for lunch and wine tasting. They did not disappoint! The cafe has wonderful fresh food and the wine was delicious. This is a great place for a relaxing afternoon.

Shout out to Nicole and all of the staff at Sandhill Crane for helping make my son and his girlfriend's wedding proposal a fun and memorable day!! All of the details went off perfect and we all enjoyed the GREAT wines and lunch. We never felt hurried and were able to take some great pictures within the barrel room and outside on the deck. Thanks again Nicole for all of your help in making this day unforgettable.

Nice place to spend a winter Saturday. We had lunch which was very good, did wine tasting and listened to the live music. Quaint vineyard!

Have not a clue, seriously! We received directions from a local at the Cell Block 7 museum. Followed the directions to the previously mentioned signs then followed the signs. Didn't get lost once!
