My dad and I had a lovely day out. The birds of prey talk was very good. Would have liked to stay for the owl one but it was very cold so we didn't. The food in the cafe was very good, can recommend the home made sausage rolls.

Great place,super friendly staff
Although some enclosures are under refurb there was still lots to see.
From the beautiful scottish wildcats, zebra and lemurs to handfeeding goats, donkeys and alpaca..something for all.
Lovely little cafe too

What an amazing experience!! Would recommend to any who is interested in birds of prey exceeded any expectations we had.
Flew a Tawney Owl, Harris Hawk and a White Headed Vulture, the surroundings made the hawk walk all the more special. Michela the falconer was fantastic, and very knowledgeable and made the day, an experience we will always remember

The price is a rip off for what we experienced, came here a few years ago and spent a whole day here, lucky if we were here an hour ! Lots of pens empty, and when there was animals in them there were no more than 2/3. Very dissatisfied, 2 adults and a 3 year old £34. If pens are empty which there was a lot of the price should come down. Would not recommend , left disappointed

Yes we do have 4 empty enclosures over 25 acres of land. With it being winter we have to allow paddocks to rest and it the best time of year for us to do some refurbishment. The rest of our animals have lots of space. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

I went here today for the first time and I really enjoyed it, I went with my mum and we both had a great time. There is a lovely mix of animals in the Wildlife Park, it feels like a Farm and a Zoo mixed into one which is great! The enclosures for the animals are lovely and they all look very happy with many of them coming to be fed, especially the goats! You can buy animal feed at the entrance for £1 a bag , I recommend getting 2-3 bags as there are quite a few animals that can be hand fed. The toilets and the Cafe were also clean which is a bonus. I spent around 3 hours here, there is plenty to see and do , even in Winter. I hope to be back again someday.

We came here to pass the time, but ended up absolutely loving it and not wanting to leave!
It has so much for you to see and with not many people about you have so much time to spend with all the animals!! You could tell that all the animals were so loved and looked after. If it wasn’t for the weather turning bad we would’ve been there for much longer.
All the staff were so lovely and welcoming.
The food from the cafe was delicious, so fresh and worth stopping for!!
If we’re in the area again, we will definitely be back!!

My wife and I visited here in nov 22 and as a birthday treat for her , I went for the bird of prey experience. We arrived early so we could walk around the park first.
The park is very well run and there were plenty of staff despite it being November and not many visitors present.
The animals were interesting to look at. Some did look a little miserable but it was cold and overcast. There was a good mix of different animals to look at in very good spacious enclosures. A large black goat was my best friend. The otters were amazing to watch in a fabulous environment. And a very vocal wilderbeast came over to us. Many other animals too. Overall very good and interesting despite it being winter time.
Then we had our one on one with the bird of prey experience. Our keeper was John who was excellent friendly and knowledgeable, and extremely caring of his big bird and owl collection. It was really enjoyable and educated us both.
Overall we had fantastic day here and it was certainly value for money. This is a really good place with very good facilities and great staff. There’s a childrens play area too and a cafe and shop. I would definitely recommend it.

One of the most depressing places I've ever visited,,,its like a concentration camp for exotic animals, I didn't see one happy animal there, place wants shut down and the animals sent back to there natural habitat,

Fantastic visit to this lovely place. We had booked the Ultimate Animal Experience last year but were unable to go due to good old Covid. They kindly rebooked us in for the same time this year (Wife's Birthday treat) and it really was a great day. Thank you to all of you there for making this a real special day. Special hello to to the Lemurs, Meerkats and Tapir's.

Is there proper wheelchair access to the animals i.e. not on gravel paths? It can be very difficult to push a wheelchair over gravel - not good for the pusher, the wheelchair occupant or the wheelchair tyres!

Hi the park is mainly flat with reasonable good surfaces for a wheelchair there is a couple of uphill and downhill paths but nothing that I believe is not doable for you and your family.

How wheelchair accessible is it as there is nothing on your information regarding disabled access. Is it fairly level and no steps (even small ones can be an issue if more than about an inch high)

Hi We try to be as accessible as possible, however some people do find the gravel on certain parths a little challenging, but are team are more than happy to help :)

Certainly! It's a little quieter and I've noticed that some of our regular wildlife photographer are in today. The animals seem to be enjoying the fresher weather, between showers and are very active today. If you have childlren, we do have a soft play centre you may wish to use if we have another shower. We have talks/displays/feed time every half hour too, so lots to do :)
