“Excellent day out ”

หลานชายของเราเอาเราออกมาล้างแค้นปราสาท แรกเป็นวิวที่น่าทึ่งจากรถยนต์ และคุ้มค่าแก่การเข้าชม ผ่านไปต่อมาในยุคกลางห้องโถงบันไดแกรนด์เป็น supprise พนักงานเป็นมิตรและให้การต้อนรับที่ดีเยี่ยม เพียงสิ่งหนึ่งที่จัดเรียง nt มันช้าที่ร้านของคุณ

ตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขาประมาณ 1 ไมล์จากใจกลางมะลิเป็นที่น่าพอใจ บรรยากาศร่มรื่น จากที่จอดรถคุณจะต้องเดินขึ้นเนินเขาสูงชัน แต่ไม่ไกล หรือนั่งรถมินิบัสไปยังทางเข้า ภายในมีห้องพักดูน่ารัก ห้องรับแขกห้องรับประทานอาหาร และมีผ้ามากมาย และไม้แกะสลักรอบ ๆ สถานที่ไฟไหม้ วิวจากหอคอยและดีสวนสวย เราเดินเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจด้วยการแนะนำ nt รอบ ๆ ลานด้านใน ซึ่ง caf และร้านค้าต่าง ๆ ตั้งอยู่ ถ้าเดินไปที่ปราสาทจากศูนย์สัมบูรณ์เป็นเดินขึ้นเนินยาว และมีไม่กี่ชะลอความเร็วของรถได้ต้องระวังให้ดี เพราะสามารถออกจากปราสาทมาลงเร็วมาก

Another National Trust gem…

Visited in Winter season so some elements of site were closed. Will gladly visit again as even with some closures the site was impressive and immaculately cared for. A grand castle with a history dating back to the 13th Century.

A must for any Welsh/British history buff.

Great day out. If these walls could talk they would have some great tales to tell. Really enjoyed seeing everything from the dungeon to the stately rooms to the servants room. After a lovely coffee from the cafe it was a lovely walk around the beautiful gardens.

If you can get on the guided tour I’d highly recommend it, there is some fascinating stories. There isn’t much time to take any photos on the tour but that’s ok as you can go back round afterwards on your own and take as much time as you want and as many photos as you want then.

Lovely castle.

Visited whilst on holiday on a sunny day, the gardens are kept beautifully, nice walk around before the castle opened. Lovely courtyard with cafe and nice shop.
The inside is spectacular with the staff more than ready to tell you the history of the castle, every room is show stopping, really pleasant day out.

Great for walk or visit to wonderful intact castle

This castle is amazing free bus to castle weekends for disabled as up a hill , the castle is wonderful dungeon s cells , a lovely courtyard look out for events like Halloween Christmas. Ect as child friendly , a beautiful place to walk around dog friendly dogs allowed in courtyard only , not gardens but woodland walks with shop in courtyard to car park selling drinks summer only , castle café restaurants open , ,,

Chirk has lots to offer visitors

Another lovely day at Chirk Castle. There is a regular minibus service from the NT car park to the castle which is helpful as getting up and down to the castle is quite steep. We visited the gardens on this occasion and will do the castle next time. Doing both in one visit is a bit of a stretch and doesn't really do either the justice deserved. The views from the gardens over Shropshire, Wales and Cheshire are fabulous and there are seats so you can relax and take it all in - try to remember your binoculars! Nearby Chirk is also worthy of a look with some good shops. There is a traditional greengrocer which has an impressive pavement display, selling great local produce amongst other good things. We got our only English Victoria Plums of the season there recently. There is also great a trout farm, shop and fishery in the area. Watch out for the signs for it in Chirk! Not to forget the majestic Froncysyllte Aqueduct and great nearby cafe & car park. Chirk certainly has a lot going for it especially for visitors to the area.

Fascinating Castle

National Trust. Good car parking and disabled places. Minibus to drive visitors up to the castle for the disabled. Very good informative guide about the outside of the castle. Lovely gardens.

Interesting with lovely views

This is a National Trust property so free for members to visit. A truly lovely place with lots of walks as well as the castle history. The castle visit isn’t too long but very interesting with some stunning rooms. A walled garden and a kitchen garden adds to the woodlands. The views are stunning and well worth the visit alone!!! Lots of activities for children and the more active …we go on gentle strolls!! Highly recommended
