Yes, we did a 2 hour hike up the mountain called Platteklip Gorge. The guided hiking company was called Hike Lion's Head. Their website is for Lion's Head but they offer Table Mountain Guided hikes too. The guide was very friendly, Barry or Nathan if I can remember his name correctly. Their WhatsApp for bookings is "+ two seven eight one seven six two five five five one", it cost around $100 per person including pickup. You'll need a guide to accend the mountain safely for the first time especially if you have kids of 9 years old. I have a 13 year old son and he was able to do it fine. My other child, 6yo girl, took a bit of time but she was able to do it too, it all comes down to the family.
