We did our PADI open water diver here and would definitely recommend it. Our instructor Dan was amazing, he made the education safe but also fun. I was a bit nervous before but i always felt comfortable and safe. Over all good energy and vibes. All instructors was good at english as well.

Whilst staying at Bohol Beach Club we visited Sierra Madre for scuba diving days.
Dived three days and visited Balicasag Island and Pamalican Island
Fantastic service and brilliant staff both in the office and on the Bangka boats - couldn’t do enough for us
Highly recommend these guys for your scuba experience 😎😎👍

Me and a friend went out to Basiclag Island with Sierra Madre with Joseph as our dive master. We dived at two sites Divers Heaven and Black Forest. It was our 6th and 7th dive so we are fairly new to it but Joesph was very attentive and helped my friend when she had ear troubles by taking her up a couple of metres and helping her equalize. They have a dive ratio of 1 dive master to 4 divers max. We saw lots of turtles, sea slugs, tropical fish clown/angel/frog. We had fruit inbetween the dives. Would recommend this outfit. The owner Troy is really nice and his dog Pepsi is very cute.

We did a “discover scuba dive” and a refresher course. Both of us found the instructor (Marie I think) very attentive, clear and patient. Saw some beautiful coral, sardines, clown fish and a turtle.

Highly recommend this dive shop. Troy, Chen, and the team were friendly and professional, accommodating all our needs at the last minute. We dived Balicasag Island (2 tanks) and a shore dive with them. All dive masters were very familiar with the reefs, had exceptional attention to detail, & were strong communicators throughout each dive. We were also able to five with no more than 3 divers per DM which made each experience more intimate.
I will definitely dive with SM next time we are in Bohol.

I have known Troy for several years when he used to work on mindora. It was such a pleasure to find he and his girlfriend Chen now the owners of Sierra Madre diving at alona beach. They have quite a nice set up but the real treat is the personalities and the professionalism that they both offer. They have local dive guides which I think is great. It is not only a dive shop but also a social gathering place. They do a great job making the store front an attractive and welcome place to sit and chat pre and post diving. They have a great knowledge of the local community and the islands in general. They are quite helpful with your everyday needs outside of diving. To be succinct, they are the total package!

Yeah – Absolutely wonderfulness being made to feel part of the diving family throughout time whilst undertaking courses @ Sierra Madre Divers ( "Sissy" fiancée taking her advanced open water with a lovely guy Mark, plus her numerous additional dives around islands and yours truly "GCD" open water with a real top guy Phil Lucas)
Our vacation together was probably dominated by diving and snorkelling. Absolutely no words can express the gratitude we hold for all the staff and dive masters for making this a tremendous and memorable trip oh yeah a special thank you to “Raphi”
Haste ye back ... yeah see you soon. Miss you already (Totally Recommended)

Helpful crew and staff, great location (especially if you stay near alona beach). Our guide Rigie the jack fish whisperer brought the jack fish storm to us..not just one day but three days in a row. Make sure you ask for him when you dive there, he is especially good at spotting all the macro stuff.
Thank you Rigie and all the crew, we had a great time and hope to come back and dive with you guys soon!!

Letztes Jahr hat mein Kind hier sein JOW- Kurs absolviert und dieses Jahr war ich mit meinem AOW- Kurs dran gewesen. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, vor allem der Nacht-tauchgang. Es war atemberaubend!

Did five days of diving with Sierra Madre. Before my first dives, Paul helped me set up my new wing. He taught me how to adjust the wing, gave me good guidance on using it and tips for maintenance. I did my dives with Rigie, who's a great Dive Master. Some of my dives were in a group, some with just Rigie. I highly recommend Sierra Madre Divers.
