We used the beach at the Stalos end of the bay near the Cretan Dream hotel. Blue flag beach with toilets, changing and shower facilities. Easy to reach with a back drop of the Cretan hills rather than lots of apartments and hotels. For that reason it seemed very chilled as only a few people used it plus no long rows of sun beds just pure sand. Lifeguarded until the end of September with some pretty big waves on some days versus calm seas on others, it is a popular surfing spot too. Loved it.

Fajn relax a místo na opalování na ostrově Aegina. Jen si dávejte pozor, která lehátka si vybíráte, protože za některá musíte platit a o dvacet metrů dál jsou další zadarmo, takže si to raději projděte.

Har rest till Agia Marina 32 gånger och älskar verkligen orten som mitt andra hem, MEN dessa kvinnor och män som erbjuder massage gör mig galen! Dom skriker massage massage hela dagarna bryr sig inte om man sover läser och pratar med någon! Igår räknade jag till 102 gånger? Helt galet! Vill inte ha någon massage! Störande bild av stranden när man vill ha lugn och ro.

Absolutely love Agia Marina beach, there are many places to sit if you pay the price but we always go the the far end and sit on the beds provided by Billy's Boats. Vasilis is lovely and hires out paddle boats and boards. There is a shower to clean off and once you are dry out is just a short walk to the best beach taverna Akogiali

Lovely beach sand sunbeds range from 5 euro and up some places free beds as long as you spend in their bar. Water is crystal clear and lovely warm temperatures very rarely have large waves. Lovely view of the island which has goats on and more importantly a lovely breeze

Αμμώδης παραλία πολύ ρηχή με ζεστά νερά πολύ οργανωμένη, ιδανική για παιδιά.Όχι τίποτα ιδιαίτερο. Όταν έχει κύμα είναι βάλτος!

Very nice sandy beaches. All services nearby and on most places sunbeds are free, when ordering food and snacks from the beach bar.

Hi! We're here st the moment, great spot but the waves are so choppy we can't swim really. Any nearby coves? I love the sandy beach but had envisaged crystal clear calm water ! Thanks

Hi, we stayed near iguana beach which is about half way from Agia marina to chania. There is a local bus which runs passed these coves. There are 3 little coves here. Very lovely beaches, clear and calm water. (We stayed in June). We stayed on these beaches while we were there and loved them.
There is plenty of parking if you are driving and restaurants near by along with a beach bar.
Have a lovely time.

Salve a tutti, soggiorneremo al Sant marina Beach ,che si trova ad agia Marina, per la prima volta quest'anno non abbiamo affittato la macchina perché.con due bimbi piccoli 3 anni e 9 mesi non so quanto avremo.voglia di girare. Abbiamo pacchetto mezza pensione, nella.zona ci sono supermercati? Perché per la piccola porterò il cuoci pappa quindi dovrò comprare qualcosa,non vorrei caricarmi troppo.dall'Italia... per.noi invece pensavo ogni sera di provare una taverna nuova... e ogni tanto andare a chaina, ma è facile muoversi con i mezzi?? E fino a che ora circolano? Grazie a chi risponderà!

will be bettEr to take a taxi for Agia Marina , will be cost to you about 25 euro. it is so hard to take bus or metro .( but please care to be clear , there are two Agia marina in Greece, one near Athens and one at Crete ) .Panos
