From the moment we entered the staff were lovely, our tour guide Jill was so funny and very knowledgeable on the different products to the cooking times, prep etc of each item. We also tried the crisps unflavoured and they were surprisingly very tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend and we got a free 6 pack of a flavour of crisps of your choice. Thank you Jill for the great tour, will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough to do justice to how good this tour is. We were very fortunate to get an afternoon tour to ourselves.
Lenore (please forgive the spelling if I got it wrong) was our tour guide. She couldn't have been nicer and was very informative and good fun too. We were amazed at how much this factory produces and it was great to see all the machines in action and learn the process from a potato to a fully finished packet of crisps. We were given a huge amount of samples of various varieties of crisps throughout the tour and even got to taste crisps straight out of the cooker that were unflavoured and still warm.
It's an amazing tour, but don't eat a big breakfast or lunch before the tour, because you'll be full of crisps before you leave and leave the place with several packets too.
I seriously can't recommend this place highly enough.
Whatever about anything else, we got to meet Mr. Tayto and got our photo taken with him!

I visited with my son and his friend who are both 6. Our tour guide Krystina was fantastic. Very informative but good fun with lots of samples of the excellent produce. Superb value for money. My son said is was the best day of his life! Well done Tayto!

We visited the factory 19th Feb 2020 for afternoon tour. We were part of the Wandsworth community group and our guides were Lenore and Jill. Both guides were very informative at the start with interesting facts and health and safety talk. We split into 2 groups and proceeded to go round the factory on the tour. It showed each stage of production with some tastings at different stages. It was amazing to learn and see the whole process. I was in Jill’s group and thoroughly enjoyed her talk the whole way through. The goodie bag at the end was an unexpected surprise. Many thanks

We were greeted by the lovely Christine, who signed us in and gave us a health & safety talk. Followed by introducing us to Mr Tayto himself!!
Then, the delightful Lenore showed us around the factory, taking us from the point the potatoes arrive right through cleaning, slicing, cooking and finally packaging the best potatoe crisps in the world....
A very informative tour, friendly staff, a great experience & wonderful to see how these old favourites are made.... it was especially good to taste the crisps straight from the fryer.
Well worth the visit.

Hi had a great time oing aound the factory with south antrim commourty bus from ballyclare enjoyed tasting the crisps it was fun going around the factory

Christina(not sure if she spells it that way) was our tour guide. She was so detailed in our tour and made sure everyone was involved. We couldn't have asked for a better day. If you're near the area definitely visit. We went as just two adults and didn't find it childish at all, which was my only worry. Definitely won't need lunch after!

Brought our nieces on a tour. Really enjoyed the welcome and the tour guide was just super. Really interesting to see the factory and loved getting the samples to taste.... Thanks Christina

Not the first time some of my group had visited the Tayto factory, but it was definitely worth the repeat. Again we were fed more crisps than we could eat whilst touring the ins and outs of the working factory of the best Cheese & Onion crisps in the world. Luckily they weren’t making Tayto cheese and onion as we were doing the rounds, but there were certainly enough other edibles coming off the production lines to fill the belly, and some. Well worth the entry fee.

I think about 1.5 hours. It was very interesting, so I wasn’t clock-watching.

Not completely sure, as the tour was split into two groups. But I think it was about an hour. Not too short and not too long to bore the kids. Plus the continually get to taste and eat crisps, so they’re fine!
