We love visiting the Karkloof Farmers Market. Always a treat.
There are lots of local artisans with the most amazing food.
Freshly grown fruit and veg, lots of sweet treats and delicious meals to buy. We always stock up on jams, preserves and nougat from Wedgewood etc
Everything is amazing and it is so lovely sitting outside with a chap playing the guitar while enjoying the view and a delicious breakfast.
Make sure you visit. You won't be sorry.

Not brilliant and expensive the scrambled eggs were very poor with 1 slice of a home made bread

Situated on the Karkloof road outside Howick. Plenty of free parking close by Open every Saturday afternoon Situated in a large Wharehouse. With plenty of stalls inside These include all types of produce and selection of food from cheeses to bread and others We had a cappuccino which was good Also a good selection of gifts and second hand books available

The market has moved since we last visited but it’s still great just a little further out of town. A nice array of produce and plenty to eat and drink. Well worth hanging out at for a while if you’re visiting.
Closes at 11:00 which is a little early if you’re hoping to have lunch.

This is a market where one can buy all sorts of goodies and freshly cooked food at an affordable price. After you completed your shopping, relax with freshly brewed coffee and breakfast. Friendly atmosphere throughout.

This is a lovely market with lots of great food. There were some craft stalls here as well when we visited which added to the interest, but it is the food that does it - had the best breakfast/brunch her, all fresh and delicious!

Lovely little stalls and one can have breakfast with good coffee. Cosy set up with fresh produce and the scent of oven baked bread in the air is a winner.

This lovely market is open on a Saturday morning. There is a wide variety of fresh produce, cheese, meat and other home baked goods to try. As well as various breakfast options. It can get very busy. Take cash as very few stall have card facilities

This is less of a farmer's market, and more of a flea market. We were hoping to buy fresh produce, but there's actually very little of that. Avoid the bagel lady, her salmon bagel was literally inedible, and her attitude to customers leaves much to be desired. Also, most stalls don't take credit cards so bring cash if you do go.

I didn't notice any dogs to be honest, but being a food market I wouldn't think it a good idea unless your dog is very well behaved! Not everyone likes to eat with dogs around unfortunately (I don't mind in the least!).
