Its such a shame that this was a totally disappointing experience due to the fact that the 'service' was shocking! After travelling for over an hour to get there although the location and view was magnificent, the staff at the wine tasting were terrible, we were not given any water, nor were we given any plates when we decided to have some food, only when we asked for them! They did not make us feel welcome at all, they don't have enough staff working that should be looking after guests instead of making feel like leaving!

So disappointing! Uncooked fish. Sides that we ordered that never arrived. Slow service, though the servers were nice. We went for my mum's 93rd birthday celebration so it was doubly annoying that it was such a poor experience. Never again.

Interesting sculpture garden and enjoyable wine tasting. It was a wonderful way to spend an hour in this area. Helpful and knowledgeable staff ~ we enjoyed a delicious wine tasting.

Our party of four selected the restaurant’Laura’. We did this because we had an amazing lunch some time ago. We where not disappointed, Laura is a wonderful place to have lunch. The table setting near the window was fantastic. The service was highly professional and definitely high end dining. We feasted on lobster and wagyu beef. The side dishes are just a treat and we all had a great lunch. Of course at $175 a head you would expect all of the above, and in our case we where not disappointed. Back for sure.

We went for a wine tasting hoping for the best as we had heard good things about this but were very disappointed. The glasses were old style that you don’t usually see unless it is a mass produce winery. We love to travel around the wine areas of the world and we rarely see this type of glass anymore. Nor did we see it in our tastings in the area . If we are
paying $50 plus for wines then glasses should promote the wine. We asked to have better glasses but were told that they were only for people who brought glasses of wine. When we talked to our wine tour guide he said that this was not correct. I know there is a lot to offer in addition to the wines but come on get your act together for people who enjoy their wines !

I have just returned from a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch at Point Leo Estate.
The staff are highly engaged, friendly and professional. The food was well thought out and totally delicious.
I still find it disappointing that patrons of the restaurant have to pay to view the magnificent sculpture garden.
Highly recommend.

While touring the Mornington Peninsula with a local friend, we visited this magnificent sculpture park.
The park is located next to a winery (which we'll visit next time.....) and is set in beautiful scenery, overlooking the sea and the local vineyards.
Come with time to spare and stroll through the lovely gardens and interesting and varied sculptures. There is something for every taste.
The weather was perfect with crisp visibility, which added to our experience.
Definitely a big MUST!!!!

Beautiful food. Good wine and service. As foodies and winos, we weren’t expecting the food to be so good because of the hype around the scultpures but we were very pleasantly surprised. The only let down is that seeing the sculptures wasn’t free when you’ve already paid for a pricey meal. Would have given them a 5.0.

Terrible experience - purchased a $150 gift voucher for parents visiting from overseas. Called to book the wine terrace option but unable to book (no problem there). Attended on the day and had changed a full menu to ‘bar snacks’ - was told we could have a bowl of chips or choose another restaurant which was out of the price ranged and fully booked for the day. Front desk verbally told us we could get a refund on the gift voucher as long as it was in writing via email.
Emailed regarding the refund and was told by the finance manager that this was against policy and that we could not get a refund. The rudeness I observed by this person, who clearly isn’t in customer service, was shocking - I was told this was a ‘he said she said matter’ and couldn’t be proved what was said on the day. Furthermore when I said I had taken a picture of the menu online only two weeks earlier (to check if this was suitable for my parents) I was told that this menu hadn’t been on the website for a year and that I had ‘obviously taken it from tomato or google’. I was told the GM would have the final say but was never contacted again.
It wouldn’t have taken much from their side to refund the gift voucher and if we weren’t told on the day that it would be refunded we could have potentially spent it on wine. I do still have 3 years to use it so not too aggrieved from that point of view however the rudeness and insinuations that I had lied about the offer of a refund/menu on their website was astounding. Will re-gift the voucher and not attend again.

You can tell from the moment you enter the grounds that so much thought and money has gone into the estate.
$10 to enter the sculpture garden but that’s not much & there are so many sculptures to see. Didn’t have time for lunch but the restaurant looked busy & was very beautiful. Tried some wines $10 for tasting but that goes towards your wine purchase. We drove from Sorrento which took us 45 min on a cold day in summer- that’s Melbourne for you🤣 but it was worth the drive - also very scenic.
A must for couples, foodies, wine connoisseurs & art lovers.
