I've twice had the pleasure of seeing Sam organise a London to Brighton corporate cycle event. Both times he and his colleagues have been super friendly, very reliable and very helpful. I really can't fault them. Highly recommended.

A few of us recently went on the gorge walking adventure with the most amazing guide. We are in our 40s and 50s with varying levels of fitness (and bravery). He made us all feel included and empowered. We were buzzing by the end! I would highly recommend this activity and Alfresco Adventures for all ages. The price was so reasonable for a small private group and the care and attention we received made the day a huge success. Thank you.

Did the days paddle boarding from Boroughbridge. Well organised. Loads of fun. Great tuition. Managed not to fall in!!!! Would highly recommend. I’ve got the paddle boarding bug now!!!

Fantastic day of outdoor adventure comprising rock climbing, abseiling and paddle boarding.
Many happy family memories were made! My 2 boys (13 and 11) loved it - but I can safely say that I had a superb day too, especially having never tried any of the activities before.
Sam was an excellent guide, I felt safe and supported throughout the day.
Highly recommended 👍

Great experience raft building with a group of 8. Cedric our host was brilliant - right mix of helping and letting us get on with things. Laid back, fun - would highly recommend.

Organised by Sam but managed by Ian and Lynne the team did a fantastic job of looking after us. Hassle free booking and the day went like a dream. 6 lads from 30-40 had probably one of their best days of 2024 pushing themselves down in the cave and up on the viaduct. Wonderful experience; Ian and Lynne were the perfect guides. Highly recommend; just book it you won’t be disappointed!

We hired Alfresco Adventures to organise a London to Brighton bike ride for a corporate event with our company. The team were super helpful, organized and pitched the level of activity and effort perfectly for all that attended. Will definitely use them again!

Really fun day.
Arrived and everything was really straight forward.
We got changed, had a little walk up to the start and had great instruction coming down the water pass.
Would be loads of fun doing this activity in a group of friends.
Fully recommended to anyone thinking about it.

We booked this last min as the weather was starting to rain. The session was an hour long and we all enjoyed it. We were given our Saftey brief an everything was explained and we were shown how to hold the bows and arrows correctly. The instructor was polite and took the time to coach our 15 and 10 yrs old so there shots improved. At the end he stuck ballon’s on the targets and we all had to hit them. We would recommend this to anyone visiting or staying at the park.

We attended an Archery session on our week in Ullswater. It was a great activity for our children (7 & 9) and friends. The majority of us had little experience, but our host was in hand to guide us through and also shared some fascinating facts/stories.

We are happy for you to take a dog (s) in the canoes. We don’t provide buoyancy aids for them though, so you’d be taking them on at your own risk.
