Eine überpünktliche Abholung direkt vom Hotel war im Tauchpreis mit enthalten. Gebucht war 1 Schnuppertauchkurs für 1 Person (gegen kleinen Aufpreis kam meine Familie mit und konnte schnorcheln). Es war mein 3. Tauchgang bei unterschiedlichen Tauchcentern und hier wurde mir alles nochmal super in Englisch erklärt und es gab sogar noch einen deutschen Aufklärungsbogen. Die Tauchschule liegt direkt an einer kleinen wunderschönen Bucht vor einem Hotel. Unterwasser hat er mich super an alles herangeführt, fragte ständig, ob alles in Ordnung sei und machte mit meiner Unterwasserkamera auch mal ein Foto von mir. Für Aufpreis nimmt er sonst seine eigene mit und man bekäme einen USB-Stick mit Bildern!
Ich war sehr begeistert, denn die 2 vorherigen Tauchkurse liefen bei mir noch nie so reibungslos ab! Vielen Dank an Lukas meinen Tauchlehrer!

It was my 3rd dive at different dive centers and everything was explained to me in English again. I was even given a German reconnaissance sheet. On a small beautiful bay in front of a hotel we startet the dive and the instructor has brought me to everything, asked constantly if everything was alright and even made photos with my underwater camera of me. For extra charge he takes his own and you would get a USB stick with your pictures!
I was very excited, because the 2 previous dive courses have never been so smooth! Many thanks to Lukas my diving instructor!

I paid my son´s diving licence, for a pretty big money. The number of dives was not fulfilled, there was not boat dive. Finaly diving licence card did not come. So very expensive dives for nothing.
Diving was good, according to my son, he is an experienced diver.
Don´t pay before you finis diving!

Super moment lors de cette initiation à la plongée. Après des explications très complètes on est parti de la plage pour une plongée de 40 min à presque 10m. Fabuleuse découverte à refaire très vite !

My partner and I booked the introduction course and we absolutely loved it!!
We each had an instructor - they helped us get into the scuba diving gear and taught us the safety signals and how to operate the equipment.
They were very patient with us which was great as it does take a little while to get used to it.
Our instructors bought a camera and so we were able to buy some amazing photos, which were very reasonably priced.
After the dive they gave us a drink and our photos.
They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, which was really helpful.
The price of the course was also very good, definitely well worth the money!
Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be returning to Makridakis Diving. We would highly recommend!

Just would like to worn other divers! Do not pay in advance! Unfortunately I was not careful and payed in advance for 3 dive package. Due to broken boat and other reasons , 2 dives we had to cancel. Rest of my vacation I had to go to the office twice a day to try to get my money back. Till now they couldn't return all of my money.
Otherwise the staff is friendly. Equipment kind a worn-out but still good.

Wir waren in einer Gruppe von 4 Personen und wurden vom Hotel abgeholt. Statt eines Hallos Calimera oder sonstigen höflichkeitsfloskeln wurde erst einmal nach der Bezahlung gefragt.
einem kurzen Transfer landeten wir an dem Dive Center, auch hier lief alles erst einmal sehr geradlinig ab - Dokumente ausfüllen und Tauchzeug anlegen.
Beim Buddycheck bemerkten wir dass die Ausrüstung sehr "interessant genutzt" wurde.
Die geliehenen Shorties gab es nur in sehr ausgewählten größen und führte dazu dass z.T. das Ding viel zu grß getragen werden musste.
Das zweite Mundschtück war mit einer Wirren schlaufe in die Ösen der Jacket gesteckt, sodass die Lebensdauer des Schlauches sicherlich deutlich begrenzt wird.
Nachdem wir dann komplett ausgestattet waren, stellte sich dann auch mal der Guide mit Namen vor.
Leider hielt sich die Kommunikation mit dem Guide auch in Grenzen und wir wussten eigentlich nur dass wir dann auf ein Gummiboot steigen sollten.
Letztlich am Tauchplatz im Wasser merkten wir dass das Material im Wasser nur bedingt dicht war. Ich hatte innerhalb der ersten 10 Minuten nur noch die Hälfte der Luft übrig, dies lag daran, dass mein zweites Mundstück permanent Luft verlor.
Für den 45min. Tauchgang hatte ich entsprechend nur bedingt Luft, damit konnte ich den Rest des Tauchgangs beim Guide an der Flasche hängen.
Der Rücktransfer zur Basis war letztlich fast unspektakulär, denn die fehlende Absprache zu Beginn machte sich auch hier wieder bemerkbar.
Somit kann ich die Basis nur für erfahrene Taucher empfehlen, die ihr gesamtes Material selbst mitbringen.

Conseillés par la réception du Creta Beach, nous avons réservé une plongée d'initiation avec mon fils auprès de ce centre. Nous sommes partis en voiture du club pour rejoindre à 10km une petite crique dans les environs de Agios Pelagia où nous attendait les 2 plongeurs qu'il nous ont accompagnés. Après les bonnes explications et l'habillage de tout l'attirail, départ pour 45' de plongée très facile (10m) directement depuis la plage. Les moniteurs sont très pro et la ballade entre les rochers et les poissons impressionnante.

Do you get life jackets when you go snorkelling? Also I will be 7 month pregnant is that okay?

Hi I am looking for a boat to carry approx 10 people. For an hour or so after my small beach wedding at 4 pm at Istron bay hotel.
We just thought it would be nice for us all to go out on a boat after the ceremony approx 4:30pm before dinner at 7pm
Do you know of anyone that would be able to do this for us?
and how much would it cost?
Picking us up at Istron.
