What a fantastic aquarium! Friendly enthusiast staff, giving great talks! We had a special visitor which really made the trip for my little ones! Santa himself made it into the tank to feed the fish! Was super! Really recommend had a lovely time thank you.

Plenty to see and enjoy with good clear details of the various sectors of the sea from shore to deep water and impressive displays in various tanks. Good for children and adults and the deep reef tank is very impressive. I learned something about jellyfish I hadn't known before - and I've spent many years around and on the sea. The seahorses are gorgeous!

Had a fantastic time at the aquarium today. On a family trip. Really interesting and a great talk from the staff. Would definitely recommend.

The whole thing is quite amazing. Of particular note are the main tank with the larger fish, which you can observe from various angles, and the smaller tank with the younger fish, where you can observe feeding times if you time your visit right. The touch tank sessions with a staff member is also very interesting; learnt a fair bit about starfish!
The aquarium isn't as large as the Sealife Centres but we felt that it was better in that it is focussed on the local sealife found in the Moray Firth and the staff there are accessible, more than willing to answer questions, and obviously very enthusiastic about the work they and the aquarium do.
Added bonus is that once you're in, you're in; go around once, then go around again, go back on yourself to check something else out.
Well worth visiting.

Absolutely amazing !!
The best aquarium we have visited by far !!
From the friendly staff who welcome you to the amazing array of marine life. The stunning open top tank is amazing .
The fish spotting sheet ensured everyone is engaged with the aquarium.
Love the interactive talks during feeding times !!
What makes the aquarium outstanding is your staff !! A special thank you to Janie who took an extra effort to answer questions by our children , teach them facts and actually take them around to show some marine life following our queries !!
And Chris , we really enjoyed your dive in feeding sessions and interactions with the visitors during this session .

A really nice small aquarium. Nice that the fish are all local fish. Nice staff and nice shop. Well worth a visit.

Lovely staff, plenty of marine life and a fabulous time seeing the divers feeding the fish. Cute wee shop. Also attended a rockpool event with my little girl who loved it, especially when her fish got placed in the touch pool!

This is a small aquarium but it still really good. It packs a lot into a small place. Definitely worth the money we paid. Fantastic for kids.
