Ik ben er op een zondag geweest, ik moet zeggen het was ook vies weer en waarschijnlijk heb ik gewoon de verkeerde dag gekozen.
Het was compleet uitgestorven, er was volgens mij niks open behalve het labyrint.
De zogenaamde toren die was gesloten. Het zag er inderdaad ook troosteloos en vrij vies en vergaan uit. Ik weet niet of die toren opgeknapt moet worden en/of er iets anders aan de hand was.
Het speeltuintje was wel open maar omdat het regende kon je daar niks doen.
Het labyrint vind ik voor kinderen op zich wel de moeite waard, die kunnen zich daar wel mee vermaken. Ik kan me voorstellen dat als het mooi weer is, er wat meer te beleven is. Ik kan me ook voorstellen dat je er een mooie wandeling zou kunnen maken.
Het parkeren was inderdaad 2,50, vond dat qua prijs wel mee vallen.

Op een maandag bezocht, alle faciliteiten waren gesloten behalve de Taverne. In de uitkijktoren was niet mogelijk. Het park is slecht onderhouden.

Grote commerciële hel

Wat een vreselijke commerciële bedoening. Dit moet de slechtste toeristische attractie zijn die ik ooit met de kinderen bezocht.
Zelfs op de speeltuin kom je niet zomaar zonder consumptie. Voor letterlijk alles moet betaald worden.
Nooit meer!

Побывать в трёх странах одновременно? Это реально!

Интересная забава для взрослых и детей где-то между тремя странами (Германия, Нидерланды, Бельгия) одновременно🇩🇪🇳🇱🇧🇪 это самая высокая точка Нидерландов – 320 м над уровнем моря.

Сам лабиринт – это запутанная сочно-зеленого цвета головоломка, созданная из кустарников выше человеческого роста. На входе есть карта 🗺️, которая – кстати – вам ничем не поможет 😉
Лабиринт Drielandenpund – это не просто точка у леса с флагами трех стран. Это еще и отличное место для семейного отдыха, потому что на территории парка есть развлекательные площадки для детей.

💶 Цены: вход на смотровую площадку €4, вход в лабиринт €6, паркинг - €2,5 за все время прибытия, кофе €3, бельгийский картофель 4€.

L'endroit est sympa, on est au milieu des bois et on peut monter sur une tour pour voir les trois pays (Belgique, Pays-Bas, Allemagne) en même temps. C'est intéressant de constater l'effet de politiques différentes sur une même région. Le labyrinthe est sympa aussi.

Uitkijkpunt is goor.

De toren om van bovenaf uit te kijken is ronduit smerig. Echt goor.
Labyrint is leuk om te doen, maar wel lastig. Het boekje wat je erbij krijgt helpt niet voor oplossing.

Great for children!

The area around the three-country point is intensively developed for tourism with facilities that are especially interesting for children. Huge parking lots indicate that this sight is well visited in the summer or on weekends. There are lookout towers, which in good weather offer a good panoramic view in the directions of all three countries. It is worth mentioning that the highest point in the Netherlands is located here, which is specially marked.

Worth a visit for the photo op and the labyrinth… but take cash and be prepared to wait for your food

Basically this is political geography that has been commercialised….on the cheap.

The owner of the Dutch restaurant, cafe, Labyrinth and car park doesn’t take Visa or Mastercard which is monumentally backwards and self-defeating as the Belgian side does.

So either take wads of cash or only buy from the Belgian side.

Worse - the service in the only restaurant was truly awful. Ignored by staff, menu only in Dutch despite it being a trilingual location and English being standard elsewhere in Holland. Then of course only taking payment by cash. Luckily the food itself was ok.

The Labyrinth itself is very well done and hard to crack, but reasonable enough on price to get In.

The tower on the Belgian side was filthy and in a poor state. The Belgian visitor centre was closed. Just looked they had given up.

So worth it for 2-3 hours, but take cash and be prepared for poor food service.

Un endroit très intéressant. Labyrinthe très difficile

Un site à visiter sans hésiter. La montée à la Tour Wilhelmina jusqu’à sa terrasse en verre est un must. Le Labyrinthe est extrêmement difficile: il serait beaucoup plus agréable à faire si les « murs de jets d’eau » que l’on y rencontre régulièrement duraient moins longtemps. Lorsqu’ils s’abaissent tout le monde se précipite dans les deux sens pour passer, ce n’est vraiment pas gai.

Take the day trip to this trip-point meeting of the countries

At the Dreilandenpunt you are able to stand in Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany. There is a monument where the three countries meet. There is also another monument for the highest point in the Netherlands...327 meters.

You can enjoy the two towers. One tower is in Belgium and gives a great view into the Belgian valley. The other tower is in the Netherlands and gives a good view into the city of Vaals, Netherlands and Aachen, Germany.

From Vaals, take the #259 bus (in front of the Albert Heijn Supermarket) up to the top. It is not a walkable climb and the turns in the residential areas can be confusing. With the OV-ChipKart from the Netherlands, the ride is free.

At the top, there are also restaurants, hiking trails into the forests of all three nations, and a playground for the kids. When you go down, take the Bus #350 onto to Aachen, Germany and enjoy a dinner in Germany.

It is fun location, plenty to do (The Labyrinth is located here).
