Best Cocktail Bar In Alykes!

This bar turned out to be very close to where we were staying, which was great because it served as a perfect place to stop on the way home from the main town in the evening.

They not only had a huge range of different cocktails, they had a lot that we had never seen or tried before, so we really enjoyed working our way through the menu. The couple that run the bar (and their daughter) were really friendly and helpful and we loved their cats!

The bar has a really nice ambience with 80s/90s music playing in the background and great views across the salt flats. Make sure you give this place a visit, it's perfect after a meal at the nearby Apollo!

Cocktails were really good, and the best priced we found! (€6 during Happy Hour which was until 10pm) The people were really lovely and we had a really relaxed time here!

We visited this bar a number of times during our recent holiday. The owners Spiros and Vicky make you very welcome. Their cocktails are some of the best I have ever had. We also really enjoyed the 80s and 90s music they played. A great little bar.

Great cocktail bar with a large selection and incredibly friendly staff and atmosphere.
I loved the 80’s 90’s selection of music and topped with the local weather, you couldn’t ask for more.

Always a happy greeting from Spiros & Vikki, they do a good variety of cocktails also mocktails for the kids, ice creams with Baileys is the best, beers, teas, coffees and a well stocked bar. A nice friendly atmosphere to relax and chat with friends, also has a pool table.

Best Bar in Alykes

Just returned from another great holiday in Alykes spending every night in The Wonderful Virago Bar. Despite a different type of weather for 10 days our enjoyment wasn’t spoilt. It was wonderful to meet up with old friends that we hadn’t seen for two years due to Covid and holidays being cancelled in 2020. Vikki and Spiros always give 100% to their customers serving a huge selection of cocktails, coffees, teas , delicious ice creams plus a good selection of non alcoholic cocktails, beers and drinks for children. Looking forward to seeing you all again in May 2022. Thank you.
