Took a boat trip from here with Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips, saw seals and dolphins. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This beach is a gem. A very picturesque sandy beach with clear sea, also great fish and chips around the corner. Visited during the August summer holidays, it was a little busy, you can have a lovely walk from the busy tourist areas to the quieter parts of the beach.

A beautiful sandy beach. I saw dolphins nearly every morning between 8am and 9am . Rocky pool too . Swim in the clear waters. Boat rides into the bay to see the dolphins. Abit of a walk on the coastal path up a hill but gorgeous. The dolphins are bottle nose dolphins look out for the dorsal fin and take binoculars.

Stunning place. Views were fantastic. Had great weather this particular day which just made the experience so much more thrilling. Lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Section of the beaches dog friendly so was lovely to take the dog in the sea and see all of the other dogs enjoying themselves. Lovely day out

The New Quay beach, or Dolau beach, is a lovely little beach to the left of the breakwater and just under the main car-park. Quiet and relaxing, not busy like the main beach as long as you don’t mind seaweed and dogs (inconsiderate owners). Sand, rock walls and rock pools. Perfect for swimming. Car park has easy access to the beach. breakwater for dolphin boat trips, shops, restaurants and coffee houses. Access to the car-park is fine getting there but you use one-way system to get out. The car park can be an issue, it fills up quickly, and confusing to use, usually ending up choosing the default of 24 hrs, but still cheap. Recommended best bet is if you are using to use it regularly is to buy weekly ticket, equal to about 4 days.

Very quaint and pretty fishing village. Beautiful harbour where you can get a boat trip to see birds and do dolphin watching. Lovely sandy beach.
Small selection of shops but lots of cafes and restaurants.
Only gripe is the parking.
Get here early, say before 10am to get a space but Ceredigion council are foolish in their mindset to operating parking meters that only accept contactless payments. No cash, and if you have a card that is not contactless your stuffed. Cost is £4.00 for the day.
Also many folk complaining about how complicated these machines were to operate, irrespective of age , resulting in long queues at the pay machines.
