Hi Sal, Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit today. Timings for all activities (including the opening time of the farm yard) is detailed in our 'What to expect' information so you should have been aware of this prior to arrival. The birthday party were only using the play areas until 10.25 (as they left for a farm tour at 10.30) so, given that you arrived at 10.15, you must only have been in contact with them for a maximum of 10 minutes? Extra seating was also available upstairs so there will have been plenty of tables available for you to utilise had you wished to. Also an under threes play area which the birthday party did not have access to and which would have been perfect for your grandsons age. In regards to the outdoor slide being wet, our staff would have been more than happy to come outside and dry the slide for you had you asked. I hope you enjoyed the animals when you went to see them as this is usually a big hit with visitors, especially at this time of the year when we run lamb feeding sessions free of charge. We really do take pride in our animals and love helping visitors to learn more about them and create wonderful interactive memories. With regards to the booking system, we would love to have an online booking platform but it is simply too expensive. We actively monitor emails, facebook, and voicemails between the hours of 8am and 8pm so responses are usually very swift. We hope to see you again soon!
