We found Yandles whilst on a walk through Martock. They have an amazing array of wood working tools in one shed. There is another full of fabulous art and craft supplies. If I lived more locally I would certainly bought some of their knitting wools. The cafe was also friendly and efficient

We passed this on way through a village. What a lovely place great staff very friendly a must see for any craft enthusiast Lots of wood for turning great tooling and a lovely shop and cafe on site

Went for the fabric, stayed for lunch. There's not a great deal to see here unless you want some wood or frilly stuff for the home but the cafe/restaurant is great with some good value food.

we visited here to buy some wood turning tools for my husband but ended up with some much more. We purchased the tools he wanted at a very good price but then got carried away with their selection of wood at such excellent prices. Although I thought this was going to be a buying experience for my husband only I then discovered that they had a craft shop on site as well so I was able to buy some lovely fabric. Wandering into the on site gift shop we discovered a lovely little cafe that had a good selection of food and very friendly staff. Although we live in Cardiff this will be a place we will visit regularly.

Had a lovely day at Yandles today! It was my first visit after a recommendation from a friend and I wasn't disappointed! We went specifically for wood for pyrography and came away with lots ! The staff were all so helpful and genuinely interested in helping and offering advice. We had a delicious lunch in the cafe (again the staff were very pleasant) and we could have spent hours in the gallery and craft shop. Special thanks to Sam who advised us in the timber section . Highly recommend Yandles!

Excellent service from chap in the wood store next door to the tools. I bought some ash seconds and a pot of hard wax and now my patio table lives again!

Brilliant for woodworkers and crafters visits. The annual show is full of ideas and bargains. Recommended is the full English breakfast when the cafe reopens.

Visited Yandles in Dec 2019 after they came highly recommended. I purchased a Razertip SK Pyrography Kit from them for my partner's birthday. Every staff member I spoke to had an amazing amount of knowledge. From knowing which pyrography kit suited our needs to which wood was best to practice on and which various tips were best for each job.
Would highly recommend the company in general. I also visited the cafe on this visit and found the service in there also to be second to none. They were again fantastic and the food was perfect!
My partner loves her pyrography kit and we have since returned to purchase more tips, more wood and other accessories including finishes for the wood.

The coffee is good but the cafe when busy is very overcrowded and there is not much room to move especially when there is a queue at the counter. Yandles is now quite a big complex with a lot of recent changes they could improve the venue of their eating facilities as well.
