You'd never get bored walking this beach.
Beautiful clean sands,clear water and stunning views.

Cullen town is a rare little jem, with enough to see and do to make it worth a stop should you be passing through.
From grabbing a bite, to exploring the antique and gift shops it's a nice place just to stretch your legs especially if you make your way down to the beach or go there first before you reach the viaduct.
It's a great spot for a picnic or a day on the beach (weather permitting & time of year) or a stroll along with the dog, taking pics as you go.
The rock formations stand like giants keeping watch and I'm sure there's probably a rockpool or two.
Def worth a visit, great parking and benches to sit at too.

Really - this beach has it all in spadefuls. A long & broad expanse of clean golden sand bedecked with other-worldly quartzite rock formations ( and a fantastic fable attached) , spectacular cliff scenery and walks, a neighbouring golf-course, various rock pools to explore, a large free car-park just under the viaduct bridge ( which had both food & drinks vans situated in it when we visited ) - and just a pleasant short stroll into the picturesque village. Plus nice clean toilets beside it decorated with local school artwork. It’s the kind of beach I wish wasn’t so far away - but the journey was well worth it.

This is the most beautiful beach- long, wide and super clean.

We live up country but this is my happy place. I make a point of coming a least once a month, even in bad weather just to sit and relax, watch the world go by and enjoy the views.

We approached Cullen from the west via the coastal walk. The walk is beautiful and the approach towards the bay is stunning (if the weather is right which it was)
The bay is sweeping and reminded us of Bondi beach.
Cullen itself is a pretty, friendly town with a few amenities, quite unspoilt and lovely to walk around.
The burger place on the beach by the golf club was great for a quick bite to refuel for the walk back to Findochty as was the coffee stop by the carpark!

Even in the depths of the cold harsh winter this beach is wonderful & echo the sentiments of previous review of it being ‘good for the soul’. Easy to find, ample parking & bins, dogs loved it.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Lovely cafés and people welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go again. Scenery good for the soul.

Lovely beach and amazing views. Definitely worth the visit this afternoon after our long afternoon in Portknockie. Lovely surround town too.

I went with two friends to a cottage in Cullen on Sixth of May this year and we had a lovely time mainly because the weather was fantastic with sunshine every day with only a few showers.
I had gone to Cullen for several years when I was a young teenager and was delighted to find that life had not really changed there at all , being very laid-back, relaxed and friendly
The beach is fabulous for both children who can play on the beautiful beaches, or fish in the rock pools that are left behind at low tide, and dogs that can run freely over the miles of golden sand. The small harbour is ideal for children to play and swim in as there are no boats - unless you fancy, as I did when I was a child, buying a dinghy and floating about blissfully in the sunshine!
There are lots of beautiful walks along the Moray coastal trail with fantastic views around every corner.
If you’re into antiques there are at least five fantastic antique shops where great bargains can easily be obtained especially with a bit of haggling.
If you like Golf there is a fantastic links golf course which is open to nonmembers.
All in all Cullen is a fantastic little village almost untouched by the passage of time.

Drive east for about 30 minutes. 20+ miles Lots to see in the coastal villages open route if you go down onto the coast road from Spey bay. Scottish dolphin centre, seals of port Gordon, Buckie, and the lovely villages of findochty and portknockie, including bow fiddle rock.
Cullen beach is a lovely long expanse and the village has some little gems too, including cafes shops and a hidden deli at the top of the hill.
All of this is on the moray firth coast trail which walks along cliff tops and beaches and part of the disused railway line
