Jan did a fantastic job overhauling my tank valves, regulators, and Dive-Rite BCD. *Jan is one of the few people on Okinawa that can actually service Dive-Rite gear

I was kept updated on the progress of his work and provided with photos, which I thought was a really nice touch.

Overall, I was extremely happy with the service I received. Jan earned himself a loyal customer.

Jan and Stephan were great hosts and we had a lot of fun diving at Gorilla Chop. Even though we were certified divers, Stephan continued to teach and give us tips on how to improve our diving skills. We really enjoyed learning about their time in Japan and Okinawa. Can't wait to go diving with them again soon!

Proper small group diving.

It’s been eight years since my last dive, so I approached the day with a little nervousness.

However diving with Jan was the perfect reintroduction to the sport. It was me, Jan and one other diver. His equipment is modern and in great condition and he has the patience to dive at a pace that suited me.

He had a few reminders of how to get the most out of the dive and made the two dives a most enjoyable experience.

We dove at Sunabe twice. It’s a 45 min wall dive down to 20m with a profusion of soft coral and plenty of delightful colourful fish to enjoy. A gentle slope to finish off made it a simple and relaxed occasion.

Stephan was great instructor and helper! My friend and I went to Piranda for our first diving experience, and he helped us have fun underwater.
The parking in Gorilla cove had many parking spots where the shower room was, but my GPS took me to a smaller parking lot of one minute walk from there. Meeting point was where the showers were.

家族4人で行き、3人はインストラクターのヤンさんとダイビングをし、1人はシュノーケリングをしました。器具も最新のもので問題もなく、気持ちよく海を楽しむことができました。私たちが行った時は少し波が荒く深い場所に辿り着くまで時間がかかったことで、水中に潜るまでは少しかかりましたが、体を波に揺らされながら水面で浮いている時間もワクワクして楽しかったです。インストラクターさんも一緒にいたので、危なくも感じませんでした。

Good but not fit to my family

Instructor Jan is great in every corner. Divers w/ good skills can enjoy his guide, no matter where you go, and find Jan the guide really capable and adorable instructor.

It seems difficult, however, for him to handle a family member with different skills: I am ok with 270 dives; daughter w/20 is 16 yo, and son of 12 yo is the newly certificated in our Okinawa trip. In the second dive of a day, we made entry on foaming wave shore but the waves disrupted us from doing it. At the end, I gave up in the first 5 minutes, followed by daughter, when son was seen far away with Jan, before disappearing into the sea. Good that, after 60 minutes, son came up to the shallow water with Jan, holding him tight.

Great Diving Experience

We had a really wonderful experience with Jan and Stefan. Jan stayed with our friends for a discover dive and Stefan took us around for our first recreational dive. We had an amazing time as saw cuttle fish, sea snakes, and a fire clam just to name a few! Thankful to be diving with such knowledgeable and professional divers. We will be returning during our next trip to Okinawa for sure.

Fantastic! Couldnt have asked for a better experience

Stefan is an *outstanding* instructor. I did my adventure diver certificate with him (same as PADI advanced open water) and he made sure to tailor all his comments to my specific needs and I improved so much thanks to him. He is very patient, extremely knowledgeable and makes sure to continuously work with you to get you better and better. In every dive he pays attention to your entire set of skills and notices any place for improvement. Answers every question elaborately and makes sure you fully grasp the concepts, allowing you to own your skills and have wonderful diving experiences. He is a top notch professional and an amazing teacher. I met Jan (the owner) on my second day while he was instructing someone else and he was incredibly fun to interact with as well, and clearly lives and breathes diving. This is a great company to dive with, not to mention how jaw- dropping beautiful the diving sites were.
