I went with friends and did the rafting. Had a fantastic time, cannot recommend this place enough. Staff are friendly and accommodating, and the rafting experience was unforgettable and hilarious. Will definitely come back again!

This was an amazing experience. It was my first time rafting but our guide made the trip so fun. At no point during the ride did I feel bored even though the water wasn’t as high this time of the year. The people running it were so nice too. We will definitely be back!
The water is chilly but they have thicker wetsuits if you get cold easily. The hot water shower afterwards feels so good. The price is reasonable, lunch is included in the package deals. And I really want to try their burgers.

My 10-yr-old daughter and I had an awesome time with I Love Outdoors Japan! Minakami is only a few hours from Tokyo but it feels about 10 degrees (Celsius!) cooler and is the perfect weekend escape in July and August.

The staff were so friendly and have great knowledge. They speak English and Japanese and are extremely patient with children. There wasn’t a bad moment the whole day. The kids loved the guides and staff. We will be back again!!! Great memories. Highly recommend!!!!

Being a canyoning and water rafting novice, but ok in the water, I wasn't sure what to expect but the team at I love outdoors Japan made our recent experience the best activity of the tour (which included Sumo, baseball and a whole heap of adventure activities that Japan offers). The staff are fantastic - warm, friendly and approachable, and you immediately get a sense that they are highly experiences, which is very important for these types of activities.
We experienced both the canyoning and rafting activities offered by Grassy, Tomo and their team and I highly, highly recommend going. The scenery is wonderful, there are plenty of laughs and Tomo cooks up a mean lunch too.
Being just over an hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen (we drove, which takes a fair bit longer), this is an experience that you have to seriously consider if you visit Japan.
I would happily visit again, and in fact, look forward to doing so. Give I love outdoors Japan serious consideration - you won't be disappointed. This is an awesome experience. Make sure to take an SD card in case they have the GoPro set up.

Kids love this place and staffs here. They are kind and friendly not to mention professionals so we didn't have any major injuries. The activities are fun and safe, food is great and atmosphere is happy and great! They can speak both English and Japanese too.
We will come back every summer! Love you all!

I've been bringing groups of kids from 6-18 years old for years up here. Grassy and the crew are simply amazing. They're flexible, kind and we've never had an injury. I can't recommend these guys enough. For business or leisure book with them and you'll make lasting memories.

下の子が小学生になったのでラフティングをしました。夏は水量が少ないので小学生でもできるそうです。スタッフのお兄さんたちはとても親切で常に楽しませてくれました。スリリングなところもありますが、お兄さんの演出の腕だと思います。途中、ボートから降りて家族で重なりあって流れてみたり、岩から飛び降りたりとラフティングだけでなく川を楽しめました。
終わってからもお店の中でも子供たちは楽しんでいました。
キャニオニングの映像も見せてもらったので次にチャレンジしてみたいです！

Perfect weather and a small group to go canyoning. We met Grassy at the shop, kitted up and drove 5 minutes to the start of the adventure. What looked tame to start with, slowly increased in pace and water depth. We were getting much more confident, until the waterfall. Lowered down about 3 metres, then dropping down the the rock face like a giant wet slide. The pool at the bottom was very deep and was also used for jumping off the bridge. The aerated water helped with the gentle impact.
After a great trip we went back for a shower and then watched some of the video and still images taken during the trip. Certainly one of the highlights of the trip to Japan. Thanks for a great adventure.
