E' da considerare, a tutti gli effetti, il centro della città: a forma di L uncinata, segue in gran parte la struttura del Duomo stesso.
Vi si affacciano anche il Palazzo comunale, il Palazzo Pretorio, l'arco del Torrazzo ed il Palazzo Vescovile.
E' in gran parte circondata da un porticato: su uno dei lati si aprono numerosi esercizi commerciali di vario genere.
Molto frequentato, sia dai locali che dai visitatori del circondario, in particolare nel periodo estivo, quando i tavolini dei bar ne occupano una fetta rilevante.
Vi si affacciano anche il Palazzo comunale, il Palazzo Pretorio, l'arco del Torrazzo ed il Palazzo Vescovile.
E' in gran parte circondata da un porticato: su uno dei lati si aprono numerosi esercizi commerciali di vario genere.
Molto frequentato, sia dai locali che dai visitatori del circondario, in particolare nel periodo estivo, quando i tavolini dei bar ne occupano una fetta rilevante.

You can still breathe a lot of the movie‘s spirit around here, see six or so movie locations on a short walk around the historic center, and see some real artifacts (bicycles, chairs and table) in the tourist office. Enjoy the scenery of cmbyn, enjoy Crema!

In questo periodo di vacanze ridotte causa Covid, ho scelto Crema per una rapida visita alle bellezze Italiane, meno battute, scoprendo così un centro storico suggestivo, a misura d'uomo, gradevole da visitare, con bei negozi e gente simpatica. La piazza del Duomo è il punto clou della visita. Sedresi al bar della piazza a degustare un vino ammirando il Duomo.

La piazza del duomo raccoglie tutti gli edifici più importanti della città. Ci si entra da una bella porta detta del Torrazzo e, oltre al duomo, vi si trovano il palazzo del comune con gli uffici della pro-loco, quello pretorio e quello vescovile. Elegante e ordinata con tanti locali dove rilassarsi un attimo sul lato della cattedrale. Davvero piacevole e vivibile.

The beaitiful square of the Cathedral has a tower door that is not on activities of Tripadvisor. it is the Torrazzo , donated to the city by Francesco II Sforza in 1525.
This door-tower , built to replace a more modest entrance to defend the primitive citadel, presents the stylistic features of Lombard Renaissance architecture of the early 16th century with some references to the late 15th century in the references to terracotta.
The side overlooking Piazza del Duomo has two statues in the niches on the sides of balcony, are the statues of Saint Pantaleone on the left and Saint Vittoriano on the right, while the emblem of Crema is visible in the central inside a small temple.
At the top the clock built in 1555.
The side overlooking street 20 september has one of the two Lions of Saint Mark present in the city, under the balcony

Una bella passeggiata per lo shopping e si arriva al Duomo circondato da una bella piazza con dei portici occupati da bar e negozi.

Visita guidata alla città murata di Crema, il cuore pulsante cittadino è rappresentato da Piazza Duomo, abbiamo ammirato le architetture: Duomo, Palazzo Vescovile, Palazzo Comunale, Torrazzo, passeggiato e sostato in un bel bar storico. Decisamente mi è piaciuta.
