The staff were very helpful. Lots of things to see if you are interested in local modern history. We really enjoyed looking at the displays. Would not recommend for kids.

Great museum to visit. Well worth the trip. You’ll get to experience a little of what life was like from the 1860’s to now including the history of the pope Noosa Shire and Pomona.

Hidden gem. Old historic house hiding lots of exhibits from seeing how settlers lived to local indigenous origins, displays of farming implements, toys, China, photography , school display complete with books, benches slates etc. Make sure that you go downstairs as well as seeing the displays upstairs.Pioneer photos and replica of settlers house etc.

Interesting collection of items and photos related to the local history beautifully displayed in a heritage listed building. The volunteers were knowledgeable and explained some of the unusual items in great detail.
It is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Children would enjoy visiting this museum.

This is a terrific museum, lots of local history and displays. Very friendly and helpful people to talk to. We were there for about 2 hours and enjoyed it very much.

This museum actually in Pomona has a large range of exhibits and a huge collection of objects all related to the area of the Sunshine Coast. Lots of friendly volunteers who are happy to have a chat. Well worth a visit.

Not sure why it is called "Noosa Museum" as it is some distance from Noosa itself and the towns are totally different - having said that Pomona probably represents the past and history more than modern Noosa does today. Lots of good exhibits and photographs showing the history of the region.

Great museum, wasnt easy to find from Noosaville as signposting is not obvious. Head for Cooroy and you will see signs from there. On arrival at the front door we were met by a delightful and welcoming lady volunteer, who gave us, excellent info on what to see.For a small building they had a lot of exhibits. Very interesting place with lots of local history.Recommend you visit here, Well done.

This wonderful museum is in the building that first housed the Noosa Council. The collection is enormous and well scripted. Apart from local and shire history it also contains a large collection of yesteryear exhibits. Allow time to peruse this collection and be entertained and educated by the volunteers with so much personal interest in Pomona and surrounds. We enjoyed our time at this museum and recommend a tour to Pomona as an extension to your Noosa Holiday.

It is always interesting to see what the local history is about in the place that you live near. it was just nice to brows around after a coffee down at the local shops.
