Easily accessible by public bus or taxi, this site is well organized, clean, well signed and worth the visit. The grounds are lovely, the ancient mosque beautiful and interesting and the gift shops are the end actually offer better prices for fabric than many shops in the city centre. If you’re there around lunch, make sure to get the rustic homemade meat pies 烤包子or some freshly baked bread.

Very nice architecture. Our guide told us the history and very interesting story of this place. It is also called the Fragrant Concubine Tomb.

17世紀のスーフィズムの導師一族の霊廟で、全部で100近い小さな墓が並んでます。
ここはとても歴史情緒があり、信仰の重さも感じられます。市バス20番で行くことができるので、行く価値ありです。

Il mausoleo è facile da raggiungere, il costo del biglietto d'ingresso è di 30rmb. All'interno sono visibile una serie di tombe della famiglia è vicino c'è un cimitero comune. Il governo cinese di fronte ha costruito un grande giardino. È possibile inoltre fare una foto sopra ad un cammello. A mio parere 30rmb sono tanti e possono essere spesi meglio...

This Mosque and mausoleum site in Kashgar is of huge cultural significance- possibly the holiest site in the area- It was built in the 1600's as the tomb of a Sufi master who spread Sufi ideology throughout the area. His son is actually Apak Hoja, and was more widely known or had more power than Yusuf, the father. Some 5 generation of Apak's family are buried here- 70 some individuals in all, including a woman known as the "Fragrant Concubine", a descendant who was taken in war by the Emperor in Beijing and sent there to serve him. She refused and it led to her early demise. She is reputed to have been brought back to Kashgar to be buried but there seems to be some question surrounding this allegation, though there is a vault dedicated to her.

Questo cimitero mussulmano e' caratteristico perché ci fa capire la loro cultura nel rispetto dei loro morti. Si capisce anche la differenza tra gli abbienti e i meno abbienti. Interessante se siete in zona , visitatelo.

Der Friedhof ist Teil der Gesamtanlage, bestehend aus Abakh Hoja Grab, Moschee und Friedhof. Dieser Friedhof besticht durch seine klaren Formen, geometrische Ordnung und sehr gepflegten Zustand.

这里长眠着伊斯兰白山派首领阿帕尔霍加，墓室的球形圆顶直径17米，没有梁柱，很惊奇，墓穴拱起，有点怪怕人的。陵墓很恢弘，旁边还有百姓的万人墓。这里更有名的称呼是“香妃墓”。市区坐7、20路公交，下车要步行一公里。

Dieser Friedhof gehört zu den schönsten und eigenwilligsten, die ich kenne (und ich kenne viele...). Das liegt an der eigenwilligen uigurischen Machart von Gräbern, die überwiegend aus Adobeziegeln mit Lehmputz bestehen, recht systematisch in Reih und Glied angeordnet sowie auch gut instand gehalten sind. Sie wirken auf Westler recht exotisch (stellenweise fast schon ein bißchen erotisch) und man fragt sich, ob die beiden grundlegend unterschiedlich geformten Grabtypen geschlechtsspezifisch zuzuordnen sind, wie es auf vielen muslimischen Friedhöfen typisch ist. Wenn dem so wäre, dann wäre die Zuordnung auch ohne viel Phantasie einfach... Viel faszinierender sind aber die klaren Strukturen und ihre systematische Anordnung selber, und auch das ist überraschend, denn üblicherweise geht die Grabordnung auf muslimischen Freidhöfen eher chaotisch zu. Blumen, Farben und Inschriften findet man aber auch hier selten; stattdessen herrscht ein einfarbiger, gepflegter Lehmstrohputz bei Weitem vor. Aber gerade das macht den eigentlichen Reiz dieses Ortes aus, an dem sich Leute mit Vorlieben für Fotos klarer Linien und Kurven in Ruhe austoben können. Grandios!
