I am not very religious but I felt very positive and peaceful after attending Maya Ganesh aarti !!

I don't really make a wish when I visit any religious place but people do believe that your all wishes comes true if you share those with Lord Ganesha with true heart !!

Sidhi Vinayak temple is located in Nandgaon and it is on mail road. Temple is small but maintained very well. Idol is very old and one of the important place from Konkan area

A holy place to revive yourself - Om Sri Sidhi Vinayaka

Hi Friends -

I went to Mumbai last weekend and have visited Sidhi Vinayak Temple. Name itself says Sidhi Vinayak - which means, what ever you will pray with clean and honest heart, your wishes will be fullfilled.

How to reach?

Best way is to use train. If you are coming from Churchgate or Andheri or Bandra or from outside Mumbai

Outside Mumbai (via air) : Come to Vila Parle station via bus.Take train and get down at dadar. Go to dadar bus stop or take a shared auto. 10 rs cost. They will leave you at Sidhi vinayak temple lane.

Outside Mumbai (via train) : Take train from Mumbai CST and drop at Dadar and follow the same steps.

Very beautiful temple with ambience. One thing i noticied, they won't fool you with dakshina and ladoos cost etc. No VIP entrance required.It is there though for 50 rs.

Try to be in mandir at 7 PM so that you can have Sandhya Darshan.

Dont try to take photographs please in the premises of temple. Remember if you are coming on tuesday then you may have to stand for longer time.

This Lord Ganesh temple in Murud is wellknown. The temple is quite old and yet is very nicely maintained. People come to visit the fort and beach often come here.

Siddhi Vinayaka temple is situated at Nandgaon between Kashid and Murud about 10 kms before Murud. A grand festival is organized here every year on 'Maghi Chaturthi' day which is celebrated with much pomp and fervor. Another traditionally auspicious day for 'Darshan' is 'sankashti chaturthi' or 'Sankata Hara Chaturthi' every month. A visit to Siddhivinayak temple can be coupled with a Murud Janjira
