Very much beautiful place in the world. It's a really pearl of this city...or I would say this country. In evening all the people gather here to enjoy the atmosphere of this lake. Very beautiful nature.

A good place to just sit and watch the world go by. The boat rides have been suspended but a new contractor was to be appointed, so don’t know when that would be. Lots of eating places especially on the town side. There is a beautiful garden too near the talao that is a favourite with parents with children.

Moti Talao (Moti Lake) is a beautiful place right in the middle of the city of Sawantwadi. Lake is absolutely clean and has a lovely paved walkway around its perimeter. There are lot of beautiful buildings surrounding this lake all with typical local architecture. At night one gets to see colorful fountains in the middle of the lake. There is also boating facility available on specific time of the day. All in all a must visit place if your are in Sawantwadi.

an excellent place to be at....still recollect the wonderful time spent here with friends and my better half from the late eve ..and after our dinner...you can take a complete walk around it...it is quite a big lake by the way...or just sit on one of the well maintained benches and enjoy the beauty....in the night looks more beautiful with the lamps on!

I am staying in Sawantwadi for one year. This one place can take away all your tensions in just minutes. Just take a walk around the lake.. approx 2KM and you feel so good. All shops and hotels around putup lights and they reflect in water.. the shades of sky.. really good scene..

Moti Talao is a lake right in front of the palace and in the heart of the city. It is a one of the attractions of Sawantwadi. Tourists can take a round of the lake on foot or boats. Many shops are situated around it.
