We walked to Oike Park on the sleeve of the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge while watching the autumn colors by the lake from the hotel near the ropeway boarding area and stopped by the museum. I saw Kitahara-san’s collection on TV and wanted to see it at some museum if I had the chance. The autumn colors around the building were also beautiful.
There is a Star Wars corner from the beginning, which is exciting. The first explanation is that the starting point of the collection was a culture shock at my study abroad. You can see Kitahara's comments in the video.
Many nostalgic records are on display in both Japanese and Western languages. The wall of the staircase that rises on the second floor was painted by Nobumasa Takahashi over a period of a year and a half using undrafted magic. Look for Monchic. Proceed to the exhibition corner to see nostalgic toys on parade (it's an extinct language).
The shop was full of things that caught my attention. I didn't want to buy big items while traveling, so I carefully selected small items to buy. It said you can get a souvenir if you post it on Instagram, so I showed the screen to my sister in the shop and got a set of five postcards.
Our family was the only one that stayed for more than an hour, showing us a number of collections that missed the good old days.

Came across surprisingly to this cute museum. What a nice toy collection from old ages, give you nice memories from childhood. Stay at the cafe, excellent food & drinks with a nice view. Highly recommended!!

映画の小物なども少しあり、さすがのコレクションです。
ただ800円は高いかと。。
また、シルバニアファミリーの展示で興味を持った子供が、最後に物販コーナーで欲しくなり、サンプルを手にしたら、女性スタッフが「小さい小物だから無くされると困るから触らないで。無くすと私たちがメーカーに弁償しないといけないので。」と言いました。
子供とはいえ怒り、もう行こうと言いました。
幼児に言う必要無い事ですし、触られて困るようなら商品サンプルは置かないことをおすすめします。
ただ800円は高いかと。。

After few minutes walking from lake Kwaguchi we payed 800¥ per person to get into the small museum. It’s has two story’s. The music was great (Elvis and his era). The little toy shop by the entrance is also cute. It did not take us long to go through, maybe 30mins.

Based on my learning from another toy museum in my country, when Japan lost WWII they had to manufacture many products for America, including toys. Hence, it's of historical significance that many toys featured have American design. A tiny but nice shop with movable tin toys and there's a cafe nearby for chilling during bad weather.

１階は５０年以上前に集めていた懐かしのおかしのおまけやぺこちゃんに会えます。ハイライトは２階の"Motion Display"の部屋です。この部屋には１０個以上ノモーション・ディスプレイが１０個以上展示されています。約１００年前にアメリカのお店で皆の注意を引く目的で作成された電気で動くウィンドーディスプレイです。３分間動くので開始時間を確認して是非見学することをお勧めします。館内は写真撮影ＯＫです。

北原さんが４０年に渡って集めた様々なコレクションです。副題の「幸せな時代な者たち」と言う通りに、昔のおもちゃがたくさん見れて、懐かしくとても幸せな気持ちになれました。

Vraiment pas terrible sauf pour ceux qui aiment les vieux jouets nous voulions aller voir le musée de la poupée on c est trompé, l entrée est en plus très chère 800 yens par personne, argent perdu pour nous

私達50代には 子供の頃普通に使っていた懐かしいおもちゃが展示されていました。
レコードも 懐かしいものがたくさん。
30分ごとに動くおもちゃも 二階にあります。
3分くらいカラクリ人形みたいに動きます。
写真 動画で撮りました。写真OKなのは嬉しい。
昔にタイムスリップしたみたいです。
