One of the prettiest passages between Spain and France!
The road from Pau, till Formigal is awasome!
Often cloudy in the French side and sunny on the Spanish side, you will enjoy the slopes dotted with sheep, and the view of the imposing Midi d'Osseau.
Once in Spain, keep enjoying the sensational landscape, good road towards the Valle de Tena do no and do not forget to stock on lovely Spanish wine at the former border's ventas!

Juste avant la frontière avec l'Espagne on découvre de splendides paysages où l'on peut facilement faire une petite (ou une grande) randonnée.
Ne pas manquer de traverser la frontière pour faire queluqes peites courses dans une des nombreuses ventas (éviter plutôt celles qui sont en bord de route, et aller plutôt vers l'arrière, c'est plus petit, mais surtout moins cher !)

Le paysage est à couper la voix et le souffle. Juste y aller, regarder, observer, contempler, marcher un peu parmi les troupeaux, on sort du temps.

Site magnifique avec panorama à 360 degrés. On se sent tout petits face à toutes ces montagnes. Il est possible de se garer le long de la route. Beaucoup de voiture mais on ressent très peu effet de foule. Site très agréable aussi par tous les animaux en liberté.
