- one of the best outdoor spots for picnic and outdoor activities
- Very friendly and professional service
- I did not try the picnic but we went for the kids to play outdoor. Very nice games: a labyrinth, many games for all kids ages
- We recommend to wear old clothes and shoes and there is a lot of sand
- secured area and well maintained

This place is really big.
You can stay for a night and sleep in a tent or just spend the night and leave.
They offer activities for all ages, but mostly for children's.
The staff are really friendly.

It all depends what you are looking to get out of it. We booked an overnight stay camping in three tents and half board. When we checked out the site we decided not to stay for many reasons; cleanliness, safety and distance of the tents to washrooms.
So when we decided not to stay just 2 hrs after online booking they told us we would get no refund but we could still get our half board dinner meal to go. Earlier on my wife had inquired about the size of the pizza offered for the half board dinner meal and the lady at the kiosk told her we would get a full pizza per person and she confirmed that when we asked her again. This was not the case whoever when we decided to check out early and instead were offered only a slice of pizza per person (we were told that was their idea of half board all along) for dinner and when we got upset they offered an extra 2 slices for our whole party (we were 6 adults and 4 kids with two teenage boys who would eat a whole pizza each on their own)...which we turned down and left angrily. Keep in mind outside food for over night half board camping is strictly not allowed. This is a scam so you are forced to buy more food on site when you are faced with the small portion offered.
Zero customer service, no refund after complaining..the camp was empty for overnight stay so it is not like they lost any clients for last minute cancellation.
Highly not recommended..
We left without taking any food, which the manager had no problem with!
Some of the games were fun for the kids.
Overall it was a horrible experience.

We still wonder, what exactly provoked you to write this unfair review?!
Could you please state how much you paid per adult and kid for the half board? And state what did Swings offer in return three month ago?
Could you also justify how you think Swings should offer its campers a 50 cm giant pizza worth 16$ for every camper who pays only 23$ for a full board package that includes the tents rental, 8 activity credits, dinner and breakfast?
Could you also please confirm whether or not you used all the 8 credits "per camper" (worth more than 16$) offered as part of the full board?
We know you did not expect the camp to have dirt and sand floor, but this is camping after all so do you think this is a reason to damage the reputation of a place that works hard to satisfy every visitor?
Further more, our meals are sufficient to more than 95% of our guests. Assuming what you said is true, up-selling is part of most business models around here specially when the initial amount you pay is more than affordable!
We apologize if Swings Camp did not meet your exceptions, and encourage you to think things over.

Very cool place especially if you kids. We went there for a family BBQ. You pay for the renting of a table; according to the size needed.You can either purchase food or bring your own. We had brought the Lebanese traditional food fest. We rented the charcoal BBQs. You can also bring your own shisha or rent one. We did the latter. The only bizarre thing is you can’t play your music on your phone. Not to avoid too much noise but instead you need to rent their speakerphone.
A lot of activities for children: reverse bungee jumping, arrow shooting, bb gun shooting, zipline, treewalking, huge playground for young kids/babies.
Lots of mosquitoes so bring the proper stuff to protect yourself. All in all we had an amazing day!

Swings is an outdoor camp-like location where families with children can come to enjoy a day of BBQ and fun in various outdoor activities.
It is located in the Mar Moussa area which can be accessed from Baabdat if you are coming from Beirut or Bouar if you are coming from the mountains. The site is in the middle of the valley surrounded by the tall pine trees.
It is mainly a sandy site so make sure you get the right shoes with you and dress as if you are going out camping.
The site rents you a table and you can bring your own food to BBQ on site (using one of the coal BBQs that the site rents). They also have the facility of storing your food for you. We have given them a watermelon to keep cold until later in the afternoon.
The site also has a cafeteria from which you can by soft drinks, chips, coffee and other stuff (including shisha) you can use for your BBQ, all at very reasonable prices.
The highlight of the place are actually the various activities that kids can embark on for credits you buy at the entrance of the camp. Kids can do arrow shooting, tree climbing, zip lining and other fun activities for all ages.
One thing I did not like is, we brought our own speaker with us and were playing our own music through our phone. One of the camp supervisors came and asked us to shut it down or rent one of theirs. This is just bad faith and shows that they are after the money. This is completely unacceptable

I would like to thank you for taking the time and sharing this nice and detailed review about our camp.
I am surprised to hear what happened regarding to the music. This should not have happened and please accept my apology.
Clarification:
Our music policy does not permit guests to bring in their own speakers in order to control noise since loud music is not allowed. When a guest brings his own speaker, we kindly ask to keep it at the reception and swap it with one of ours free of charge ( 6W Hama bluetooth speaker). However, we do rent our speakers for guests who wish to listen to music and are not bringing their own.
Again, my appology for what happened. This does not reflect our values. It would be helpful if you can describe the supervisor so we can follow up on this matter.

In our opinion, this is the best picnic area for families with young kids compared to other similar venues.
The area is big and relatively flat which is safe for kids.
You can have a table very close to the kids playground which is great so you don’t need to keep following your young kids around.
The staff are very friendly and always helpful.
You need to pay for the kids area and kids games. We usually pay an average of 10 usd per kid for a full day of activities and fun. Our kids 5 years and 3 years old enjoy jumping on the suspended net all day. Great physical exercise and fun at the same time!
We went 5 times so far this summer and the kids cannot get enough :)

I went with my family to swings, the place is not too big but average but especially very expensive and boring, each activity costs 8 000 LB and lasts 10 seconds, there are only 2 interesting activities and the rest is boring, no restaurants

Hello , we are a family of three . wondering if swings would offer an nice rich camping experience for 1st timer campers... basically looking for nature and scenery, good campfire( without having to set one) :D

Swing’s staff is very professional and will help you throughout your camping, when reserving you can tell them that you want a campfire instead of a grill (they usually give you a grill) which they’ll set on fire for you, they also give you a table, chairs and a tent. The place is very safe, friendly environment, they make your camping perfect. (For example they ask if you want your camping in the calm area or if you want to play some music).
Also the bathrooms are very clean and you have the option to take a shower there, prices are very reasonable.
And while reserving they’ll tell you that the reservation is for 24 hours; from 11am to 11am the next day.
