Club hire costly, no GPS on the carts

Not the best course in the area as there is so much choice. We found the course not that interesting, the greens were ok, ish. The front 9 were closed due to works being carried out, so we had to play the back 9 twice. Found the club rental price high, and the carts did not have GPS, so as a visitor, it was hard to judge distance, there were fairway yardages, but not very many.

It's the story of 2 nines in terms of layout. The front nine is a boring trip through the development with not much to see except how close the cookie cutter houses are to each other. The holes on the back nine are much more scenic. There was such a difference that it almost felt like 2 different architects designed the course. There are no trees on the entire course and for a Florida course it's amazing that there are so few holes where water comes into play. The bunkers are incredibly deep -- they are the one true challenge on the course. Otherwise, most of the holes are pretty straight, there are no significant dog legs on the entire course. The greens roll true. It feels like half of the time on the course is spent driving from one hole to the next. Between the lengthy drives through each neighborhood and the lack of originality of the course design, it felt more like a municipal course than a country club. There are a lot of better choices for your money in the Orlando area, and especially within Champions Gate itself.

It’s a real gem. It’s in top condition. Greens were rolling in the 9-10 range. If you can zone out the construction and the Latin music blaring between holes 3-8 the rest is incredible. Friendly staff. Range balls are included.

Christmas Paradise

Stayed at the Omni for Christmas vacation with relatives. The resort was beautiful and well kept. All of the personnel we encountered were personable and professional. Food in restaurants was excellent as well. We all enjoyed our stay. No complaints at all.

Only ok for the money

If I’m honest it’s a bit arrogant. Greens were good but not excellent and I felt the staff were slightly aloof. Plenty of other places to go which are better for less money. Providence, Southern Dunes, Highland Reserve to name but a few

Golf Weekend with the Guys

Very disappointed in the course layout. Lots of weirdly designed holes on both courses. In addition they messed up our tee time reservations on both days despite making them 2 months in advance. They gave us half-price Greens fees to tee off in the afternoon Vice the morning on our first day to accommodate us. The second day they tried to push our tee time back an hour without any notification until we arrived at the pro shop. When we complained they relented and gave us our originally scheduled tee-time. Lots of sand traps on this course which are very large yet only one rake on many of them which made it time consuming 2 clean the traps. None of the greens had any sort of collar and were contoured so most of our shots if not hit perfectly would roll off the green and into either sand traps or water. Our round took almost 5 hours. Needless to say we were disappointed the overall experience.

Great golf course and worth the stop to play

Two couples played on a Wednesday morning. Great selection of tees to play for all levels. Course was in very good condition. Greens are very fast, so be careful. Staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of sand traps and not a lot of water. Yes, there is some construction going on between holes, but that does not spoil playing this course. Pace of play was 4 hours for 2 couples, which was good. Would play again when in the area. Look for discounted deals to reduce the fees.

Overpriced and not in good repair (Under Construction)

So we've played here before, we have a relative that owns at this resort. It's always been expensive to play here. In the past we've gotten ok results. Last year it was really cold and windy so we were just trying to get through it. This year the resort is building a bunch of new housing that cuts through some of the first nine holes. If I knew how much, I wouldn't have played there.
Over all, if you like golf courses that have great views and vistas, you won't find them here. Do yourself a favor and run down to Highlands Reserve. This course is golf course designed for a subdivision, and not a subdivision designed around a golf course. The views are all cookie cutter houses all painted the same for thousands of feet with minimal landscaping (no trees). The construction right now makes you go "off road" through sand with the absolute minimum of signage to guide you to the next hole. (they even have a course guy driving around trying to point you the right way). The new roads impact a short par three by putting new pavement real close to the back of the green, with no silt fence to keep your ball from rolling to the street and bouncing away. It's also a pretty short par three (150 ish yards) so if you over shoot the green, same thing, your ball bounces away down the street.
Then there's the $20 lunch. They have you stopping to order your lunch on the ninth hole by phone, but don't make it till you get there. The menu has no description and no prices, so you don't know it's a 1/4 pound dog (which is ok by it's self) that costs like $8. I ordered 2 hot dogs and a Coors light, it cost $22.80. There were 2 guys working behind a counter with one microwave cooking hot dogs. It took like 15 min to get in and out.
I'll only go back if I have to. (Family)

Great small distance course with helpful staff

The golf course was in great condition, reasonable course distances using "Member" tees, and very helpful staff. Nice variety in terrain and hole design. Only drawback is no shade.

Lugar bonito e agradável , muitos campos de golfe 🏌️‍♂️ dentro do condomínio . Vários restaurantes, conveniência , etc... Há um clube maravilhoso com muita infra estrutura , restaurante , academia , pequeno cinema . E casas muito confortáveis . Adorei!!!
