The boat trip with Filipe was amazing! Filipe gaves everything to make this experience to a "once in a lifetime" moment! We saw a large group of dolphins, they were playing with his boat and we had plenty of time to enjoy this moment. We really can recommend this private boat trip with Filipe and the trip around the island ilhéu de vila franca do campo! It is worth to spend some extra money for this private tour.

Unforgettable fishing trip!
Super nice and extremely experienced captain and a top skipper. We had a lot of fun on board. Thanks to decades of experience, there was plenty of fish on top.

A skipper with great boat, knowledge and gear who is working for the client to make sure they have the best experience possible. Book direct, can cater for the experienced or those less so. You'll not get anyone better or nicer or more communicative, and book a whole day. No fishing is guaranteed, but we caught big tuna and wahoo and couldn't have asked for more.

We had a wonderful spontaneous boat tour with Filipe and Leandro.
Filipe explained everything to us very well, you can tell he does the tour with commitment and heart. Thanks for the great tour. We'll be back!

While waiting in an extremely hot line to buy tickets to Vila Franca do Campo Islet my family and I decided that being miserable in a line that did not guarantee that we would be in the 400 folks allowed in the islet that day we came upon AzorSea Adventures on line. We were lucky enought to catch Filipe Soares who could accomodate the six of us on a two hour excursion later that day.
Filipe is passionate about the ecology of his beloved island. He taught us about the history of the vulcano, lava tubes, ornithology and the many diving competitions that are held there. He took us to beaches and snorkeling places where you can dive and get a handful of very hot sand! There were no crowds or waiting for boats. We enjoyed the clear waters, open air and history lessons.
Filipe was funny, energetic and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Azor Sea Adventures for an excursion, fishing trip, whale watch. You will enjoy yourself.

I was here for a day trip to Big Game Fishing. Communication was super nice and professional. Skipper Felipe is one of the best guides I have ever experienced. Absolute focus throughout the day, he made everything possible to get the angler to the fish. He wants it more than the customer, I think that describes it aptly! In addition a very stable and comfortable boat and of course Filipe also found a marlin for us that day!! I will definitely come back! Thank you

We happened upon Filipe's operation while trying to find a whale watching or other coastal excursion. He had an unexpected cancellation and it was lucky for us! We opted for a non-fishing excursion around the area lasting several hours.
Filipe and his 1st mate (sorry, bad with names!) took us on a tour of the island with a history of the vulcanology, ornithology and tips and tricks for fishing around the island.
He took us to empty beaches, showed us the hot sands from the volcanic activity, and provided a running commentary on everything from cliff diving to lava tubes.
If you prefer to be an anonymous face in a large tour group, this isn't the tour for you. If you prefer to be hands-on and interact directly with your guide and his 1st in command, you'll definitely enjoy Filipe's excursion. It felt like an afternoon with a friend who had a few tricks up his sleeve that he wanted to show you, rather than a package tour.
Bonus points for anchoring the boat and jumping in with us to enjoy the warm waters and hot sands!

Felipe has a passion for what he does and it comes through in the experience. Great combination of history, geology, culture, and fun. Our 5 year old had a blast seeing all the dolphins and swimming in the volcanic waters. Will definitely be back for another tour with Felipe on our next trip to the Azores! We took a 3 hour tour which was the perfect time.

The trip with Filipe was very educational. Great stories around the island. We have seen many fish and also touched the very hot sand Filipe has dipped from the depths. A great experience and highly recommended. And great for families too.

Hi Filipe!!! I am the Spanish girl who did the excursion a week ago. I really loved it and I would like to learn more about the geology and vulcanology of the place. Do you know if the book you showed us titled "Ilhéu de Vila Franca: o vulcão perfeito" written by Victor-Hugo Forjaz and António de Frias Martins, is for sale somewhere please? Thank you. Greetings.

Yes. They sell the book in the office of Marina of Vila Franca. I think it's about 11€.
