Our birds of prey host was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the birds and the environment us humans leave for them. I learnt a lot. It was lovely to see the birds in a natural environment. Thank you.

This 45 minute show is engaging and informative. We really enjoyed seeing each bird and hearing their stories. The gist of the show was excellent.
Rating 4 stars instead of 5 as we were a bit disappointed that some guests snuck in for free 5-10 mins after starting time and staff did not do anything about this.

This was an up close experience with beautiful birds rarely seen. Visitors are welcome to interact with the birds but their sharp claws could frighten a young child. Our 6 year old was able to handle it but had scratches for an hour or so. The barn owl was a big hit.

Saw two owls, a black kite and a wedge-tailed eagle. Also had the chance to hold a bird. Fantastic! Host was knowledgeable and experienced.

This is experience is money well spent. It's not cheap, but you're probably never going to do it again. And you get to actually hold a bird of prey...that's an incredibly unique experience!
Plan to get to O'Reilly's early so that you aren't rushing around. There is a lot to see here. Grab some lunch, relax and have a look around. It's an incredible place, high up in the sub-tropical and temperate rainforest.

Intimate and extremely informative. I was able to get some great photos because the birds are so close. I never thought I would get one fantastic photo of a bird hovering let alone several. A truly fantastic experience.

The birds of prey show really is awesome. Against a picturesque backdrop you get to see some majestic animals up close and in action. Great fun for the whole family and worth the trip up the mountain.

We enjoyed this show while staying at O'Reillys rainforest retreat. We were able to get a very up close and personal look at the birds and learn a lot about where they live and conservation. There was also an opportunity to hold an owl or eagle for an additional fee. I wouldn't make the trip up to O'Reillys just for this show, but as part of the full set of activities at O'Reillys I would definitely recommend including it in your itinerary.
