Vi har nu haft förmånen att lära känna Cristina och hennes familj under 3 års tid då vi bott på La Martina ett antal gånger, medans våran vingård varit under renovering.
Cristina har inte bara varit en fantastisk värdinna hon har dessutom hjälpt oss med nästan allt vi bett om. Hon sydde ihop ett fantastiskt bröllop för våran son och hans fästmö och 85 gäster på våran gård. Magiskt bra blev det. Kan därför varmt rekommendera La Martina och hela deras personal.

Ho visitato l'Azienda Agricola La Martina con un gruppo di turisti francesi in soggiorno culturale nelle Langhe: presso questa struttura abbiamo organizzato un pranzo con degustazione vini. La signora Cristina, ottima padrona di casa, ci ha offerto un tour nelle vigne di famiglia e nel museo del vino e della botte predisposto all'interno della struttura. Le visite sono state guidate dal papà di Cristina, enologo esperto che con la sua professionalità ma anche con tanta semplicità ha accompagnato il gruppo e risposto ad ogni curiosità.
Grazie Cristina, ritorneremo!

Soggiorno perfetto e grande disponibilità da parte dei gestori che ci hanno concesso di entrare nella struttura già al mattino. Perfetto lo spazio a disposizione dei bambini con un tappeto elastico molto apprezzato. Le stanze molto curate e pulite. Colazione ottima con dolci e marmellate casalinghe.

Trovato casualmente su internet siamo stati colpiti positivamente dall'accoglienza e dall'ospitalità di questa famiglia. Bel posto fantastico paesaggio a misura di bambino

Siamo stati con amici a mangiare all'agriturismo durante la festa del primo novembre e do, nel complesso, un giudizio positivo, l'accoglienza è familiare, il posto molto carino anche se piccolo, passando al menu antipasti 5-- ci si aspettava qualcosa di più del tipo salumi del posto .... i primi 6 + anche qui stesso discorso degli antipasti ma i plin che fine hanno fatto .... mentre il bollito passando ai secondi merita un 8 dolci 7

Gestita da una famiglia veramente molto accogliente e disponibile. Ci hanno fatto fare un giro tra le vigne raccontandoci molte curiosità. Unica pecca il cibo...abbiamo mangiato al ristorante e per quello che abbiamo mangiato prezzo troppo alto.

Bel posto, in una dele zone più belle dell'astigiano, con piscina per le famiglie con bambini. La gestione non è assolutamente all'altezza, peccato.

Whilst driving down past the industrial units we had our reservations about this cantina, how wrong we were? Immediately greeted by Lorenza then introduced to Frqnco who is the owner of the vineyard. The garden area is beautifully presented and maintained. We were warmly welcomed and given drinks before being taken to the vineyard at the back of the house. Franco talked passionately about the production of both Moscato and Barbera - I now know how to tell the difference between these two vines from sight.
Their family museum is small but maintained with a passion. Franco talked about the significance of each item. We then were served some apertivo and our first bottle of wine - a Chardonnay with a little bit of sparkle (very nice).
We sat down to lunch at approx 12:45 and consumed a wonderful 4 courses - antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti and dolce. All washed down with more Chardonnay then some barbera and finally moscato. Water was in continuous supply. Finally at a little after 15:00 we could not eat not drink a further thing! We were well fed and watered.
We left having purchased 8 bottles of wine. A fantastic day which was excellent value for money - lunch was €25/head and the wine starting at €7/bottle - we opted for the DOCG Barbera at €9/bottle.

La Martina in Canelli is in the heart of the Asti wine making area and apart from the stunning scenery also produces some fantastic wines. La Martina is a Family run Vineyard and Winery with wonderful hosts Christina and Maximo. Food and Wine tasing is excellent as is the small family museum put together by Christina's father who also runs the vineyard tour at the back of the winery.
Highly recommended!

Christina and Maximo are such wonderful hosts. We arrived in the evening and had been dropped of by taxi. We hadn't eaten. Christina was able to find us a restaurant for us and Maximo volunteered to drive us to and from. The accommodations are very nice and like many businesses in Italy the whole family is part of the experience. From dad and his museum and wine making to momma who takes care of the breakfast detail. Thanks for the experience.
