I had dreamed of riding horses in Patagonia for a decade. One of the last pristine places on earth and I hope it never loses its charm.
Juan Pablo, man, you felt like family after a few short days and I'm still trying to understand that it's all over. This trip was impactful and may I say, even life changing, and its all thanks to JP for making it possible. JPs passion shows in his work. His planning, patience and knowledge is unmatched. We will never forget the memories you created with us. From riding the horses, to walking in the strong winds, and the dinner time conversations about life: that's what life's all about.
Hope to see you one day again JP!

My boyfriend and I did a 5-hour ride with Juan around the serrano lake area. The horses were wonderful and happy. We enjoyed our ride and lunch very much. Juan made sure we were doing OK and having a good time.
I highly recommend this tour!

We did the three hour ride and it was amazing. Juan and Juliette were great guides and made sure we were comfortable on the horses. We loved the trail and passed amazing vistas of the mountains and river. Highly recommend taking the ride!

I had a wonderful ride here! I was a solo rider and had two guides. Juan made it very easy to accommodate me when booking and the ride itself was lovely. We went up into the mountains and then along the river. My horse was well manered and we were able to see Torres del Pain National Park. Juan also gave info on a lot of the nature and animals we were able to encounter along the ride as well. I would definitely recommend! It was a relaxing and peaceful ride.

I was looking for multi-day horseback riding tours about a week before I arrived and found Juan. With so little notice, he was able to pull together an incredible 3-day itinerary for me that included riding through Torres del Paine to the Grey Glacier, a mountain ascent with incredible views, and a ride to a breathtaking waterfall on an estancia near the park. Our three days included everything from cantering to technical climbing to water crossings (and even a bit of cattle herding when we came across a group of cattle near a gate we needed to pass through). Oh and did I mention an encounter with half-wild horses that live in the park?
Early on the first day, an old back injury flared up while we were cantering. Juan was incredible—very considerate in regularly checking in with me over the next three days to make sure I was doing well, endlessly patient as this slowed down our rides, and flexible in suggesting adjustments to our plans to accommodate my comfort & well-being.
Could not have imagined a better guide—Juan is a thoughtful & thorough planner, an experienced horseman, a knowledgable flora/fauna expert, an excellent all-around human, and also an adept cook! Can't recommend Juan & Cimarron Travel enough—stop searching & just book with him!

I had a day-trip with Juan and his great horses in the nature of Torres del Paine, discovering a wonderful landscape passibg through the hills, lakes and forests. Very nice guide, everything well organised, I highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back again !

Had an amazing whole day experience with Juan and his team at Cimarron. The whole thing exceeded my expectations by a mile and delivered an unforgettable memory, riding freely through the Patagonian wild in various different terrains. Juan knows what he is doing and gives you just enough freedom to maximize your riding level while staying safe. Our ride included river crossings, sand trotting, rock climbing, full galloping, and everything in between…full 5 hours and a lunch by the river. An unforgettable experience.

Juan was an amazing guide and host. He made every effort to make our experience an unforgettable one. We did the 5 hr horseback riding tour and everything was perfect, from the horses to the terrain to Juan as our lead guide and his entire team. I would recommend them without any hesitation. It was a one of a lifetime experience for us.

I had a brilliant day out with Juan. We did the ride to Lake Jota from the Rio Serrano which took five hours including a stop for picnic lunch at the lake. Stunning countryside, horses are brilliant and Juan is a fountain of knowledge on local knowledge and flora and fauna. Will stay in the memory for a very long time.

Juan went above and beyond in helping with questions, both pretrip and during. Our 3 hour ride was absolutely beautiful, and the horses were well trained. I very much recommend it.
