A wonderful experience! Mandy was so accommodating, despite our group being larger than usual and went out of her way to make us comfortable.
Having our own time with the alpacas made the experience more relaxing!

What an amazing experience. The alpacas and gorgeous and host very knowledgeable about these lovely animals. Afternoon tea was delightful and enough to feed double the amount of people. We would love to come back and stay in the accommodation on site soon! Would recommend this 100%. Thank you.

We went to stay at Woodlands between 28th August and 2nd September 21. Driving through the beautiful Cambrian Mountains was amazing but when we arrived at Mandy's we were completely blown away. It is a beautiful old Welsh house with the most stunning views over the rolling countryside. It literally took my breath away. There was a fabulous enclosed garden with a secluded hot tub overlooking a field of alpacas, sheep and donkeys and complete silence aside from their bleating, Joe Cocker the Cockerell's morning cockadoodledoos and the call of stunning red kites. A little piece of heaven without a doubt. Sitting in the hot tub, star-gazing and sipping a cold one was the most relaxed I've felt in a long time! We were so impressed with the hot tub that we ordered one for ourselves! Our welcome from Mandy was second to none. She is warm, bubbly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. She told us tales of her animals, the house and its history and how she came to find her calling, which is undoubtedly animals and hospitality. Freshly baked bread, eggs from the resident chickens, orange juice, butter and a doggy welcome pack with food, treats and toys awaited us in the apartment with fluffy white towels and gorgeous smelling throws giving the place a homely feel. Nothing was too much trouble for Mandy who is simply the best host I have ever met. She provides information about local places of interest which were simply mind-blowingly beautiful. Our puppy Paddywags adored her and I consider him an excellent judge of character! He cried for miles when we left. He has got sick while we were away and Mandy was absolutely brilliant. Gave us the number of a vet and physically carried him upstairs. The woman's devotion to animals is palpable. I left after 5 days feeling like I had made a friend and being absolutely determined to return. Mandy, you are one in a million and were made for this. We miss you and can't wait to come back! I honestly don't have a favourite part of our alpaca experience - the whole encounter just exceeded expectations. The boys and girls are such wonderful creatures - a huge credit to Mandy who clearly adores and knows her animals so completely. It was incredibly rewarding to learn how to approach and interact with Bingley and the crew, and have them relax and take feed from our hands. We loved every moment spent with Mandy and the alpacas, and if you have the time -make sure you stay to enjoy the superb cream tea too. The scones are to die for!

5/5, a fantastic experience of stroking, feeding and learning all about the alpacas. The noises they make when they’re happy is the cutest! Mandy who runs the experience is really knowledgeable and super friendly, the whole experience was an absolute delight! We had a wonderful time and will be back for the full experience including afternoon tea! Yum!

My wife and I joined Mandy and her wonderfully cute alpacas for a 1 hour meet and greet. We got to feed and stroke these beautifully soft, fluffy and incredibly gentle animals. It is such a relaxing experience in a gorgeous setting. Mandy is a fantastic host and a pleasure to chat to, full of interesting and fun facts. We enjoyed it so much, we want to come back for the full package with afternoon tea!

Absolutely amazing alpaca experience- we also chose to have afternoon tea in the same field which was gorgeous and so filling (we actually had to take some home!)
Cassie is the leader of the pack when it comes to petting the alpacas and once she has welcomed you, you are one of the herd! The alpacas were so cuddly and soft and overall the whole experience exceeded my expectations and definitely memories made. Mandy also has apartments at the woodlands farm, where we stayed on our trip and thoroughly enjoyed so Thanks for hosting Mandy! From Amy and Jack.

Stayed at the apartments overlooking the meadow. Could not resist tge hands on experience with afternoon tea. Amazing animals and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

I booked this experience for my mum for Christmas as she is obsessed with them. I selected the cream tea option. The food was amazing but the best was obviously the alpacas. They were so friendly. The lady who runs it is called Mandy and she was amazing. So professional and really friendly. We loved every minute of it and will be booking again soon.

an amazing experience trekking with Mandy and the alpacas through the valley. Mandy is a lovey host / guide, very knowledgeable and friendly and the alpacas are awesome ! each one has it own personality and they are very well behaved. After the trek we got to feed the alpacas followed by fresh cream scones and welsh cakes :)
