First of all: Big thanks to the crew of NZ Motorbikes.
Was an awesome experience. The BMW R1200 GS was incredible.
The bike performed perfectly and was well maintained.
The people of NZ Motorbikes are very friendly and so helpful.
If you want to experience New Zealand by motorbike, you have to go to NZ Motorbikes.
See you again in 2020

Can highly recommend NZ Motorbikes! The bikes are well maintained and the stuff is amazing! Even when we had an issue with the bike they were so helpful and fixed the problem on the road immediately.

We rented a new BMW F800GS and the bike performed amazingly! Side panniers, GPS included and on top, you get a tyre reparation kit! It's possible to store your luggage at the depot! Geoff is a motorbike enthusiast and told us a lot of hidden gems.
The south island is great for riding! We definitely will come back to ride on the north island as well - and there's no doubt that we will go with NZ Motorbikes again!

If you want to explore NZ on 2 wheels ( and a motor ! ) then speak to NZ motor bikes. The guys were very helpful in all respects. They took time to make sure we had all the gear that we needed and nothing was too much both. I'd highly recommend them.

Decided to tick one more off my bucket list by doing a four day bike tour of South Island NZ with my brother and his wife. NZ Motorcycles gave us a great price with fully kitted out BMW 750 GS's with low mileage, couldn't be happier. We were a little concerned as we had a few issues actually booking exactly what we wanted even though many emails were sent. Eventually it was sorted but only about a week or so before I left! I couldn't even find any reviews on the company so was thinking the worst. When we turned up Geoff could not have been more accommodating, and explained that although the company was well established on the camper van side, they were still fairly new at the bike rentals and tours which explained the previous issues. He even threw in a spare helmet and pants for free (was so glad of these going over the passes!🤪) and actually being a bike enthusiast himself gave us a few tips and ideas.
All in all we seriously couldn't have asked for better. Bikes were amazing and didn't miss a beat, service was great and price was unbeatable which made the trip probably one of the best trips I've ever done in an amazing country. If your wondering... Stop and just book it! I will be next year when I go back to do the North Island. Top job NZ Motorcycles.👍👍👍👍

I would definitely hire a bike from them again and recommend anyone who needs to hire a bike use them!

What a great experience, can't recommend enough. My buddy and I rented 2 SWM motorbikes with camping gear to set off on an adventure. The pre-visit support, booking and asking questions was excellent with Steffen. We had an issue with one of the bikes and Geoff was able to get a replacement (BMW) to us the same day. And that was a Sunday, so awesome support.
Great way to see the South Island and experience some of the High Country. Can't wait to come back.

I rented a BMW 1200GS WC at the NZ Motorbike Christchurch depot.
A few weeks before the road trip on the south island, I contacted NZ Motorbikes to get a quote. The support during the booking process was great and fast.
The motorbike was clean and in good condition. In the top box there was a tyre reparation kit. This is something I have never seen before.
Top box and side panniers were included in the price and even the GPS which is, beleive me, not very common.
Another cool thing is that they provide a free shuttle at the airport and also a luggage storage.
Last but not least, riding on the south island was fantastic. Hey bikers, if you never did it, do not hesitate to put that in your "list of thing to not miss".
One day, if I decide to ride on the north island I will definitely use reuse the services of NZ Motobikes.

Myself and 3 friends finally undertook what we had been talking about for years, riding around the south island of New Zealand. We accomplished this in January 2019 with NZ Motorbikes being instrumental to our trip, and we can't thank them enough.
From the initial contact to our inevitable farewell, all the team were fantastic, with special thanks to Kerilee.
The BMW bikes were superb (we had 700, 800 & 2 x 750), extremely comfortable and fun, and the on road assistance we required one day was swiftly organised by the wonderful Geoff, special thank you to him as well.
Thanks team! Can't wait to get back over for another ride soon! :)
