After seeing many people take the boats out, I felt I was missing out, watching and not doing. Travelling solo, I went out with George this morning to a beautiful part, swimming spot with exquisite blue water, mother earth. You see the water glistening, the only boat out there, tranquility. It's therapeutic being out at sea solo with a skipper.
Enjoyable and I highly recommend. An hour doing this was better than a massage. I feel so much more rested after this. Cancelled second massage. Healing the mind, body and soul at sea, fresh air, rejuvenating water is a winner.
Go in the morning- pure energy, less boats.
If you are questioning yes or no, go with the instinct. It's a great way to end or start your time of self care, fun.

Very bad experience, Tui advised us to go to them. Then one told us ok for renting a boat without license then the other told us no it’s only for hotel clients. They choose clients depending on your face....not professionnel at all...

We went today to rent a boat, the staff is not professional at all. First they said ok for renting the boat then they said no you can’t you need a driving license. On the paper on the wall it was written the opposite. Very bad service and confuse information. I clearly not recommend this renting boat agency.

Heerlijke dag gehad op het water met een 25 pk bootje. Niet de nieuwste, maar prima in orde. Goede uitleg, goede prijs en een mooi gebied om te varen. Als er problemen waren konden we altijd bellen. Reddingsvesten aanwezig. In principe huurden we de boot voor 4 uur, maar er valt prima een dealtje te maken als je langer wilt en contant betaald. Je krijgt een kaart mee met leuke plekken en plekken die je beter kunt vermijden.

We stayed at the Royal Marmin for couple of days and wanted to try a motor boat trip around Elounta Bay and Spinalonga Island . at Petros located on the beach of the hotel , everyone is professional , they teach you everything from A to Z , (Yorgos is great ) spent like half an hour just to make sure all is clear . the boat 35 HP is in a great condition and driving it is a pleasure. we went around the bay till the lagoon and around the island . 2 hours excellent adventure . recommended A++++

Located on the beach in front of the Royal Marmin hotel, we found petros to be very good value. We hired a small boat for a two hour trip costing 120 euros.
The two men running the water sports are very friendly and not pushy or aggressive in any way in their sales pitches. They just let you take a look and make your own decisions.
After a brief instruction from one of the guys, we took the boat round the tip of the island and round to spinalonga. There was also the opportunity to anchor down and have a swim in the sea.
I was quite dubious about doing a boat trip but was very enjoyable and would recommend as a lovely few hours activity!
