Devine experience. Truly miraculous. Each time we visited we were blessed to witness this Miracle.

Such an beautiful church, so very Holy and heavenly. We witnessed tears from our Lady’s statue. Tears have turned to oil. Even the statue of Mother Mary in the garden outside the church has tears from her eyes. Please do visit to pray with your family.

Monastery with a difference

Although we were not able to go inside, the garden and surroundings were lovely. Calm and peaceful, loved seeing the chickens wandering around.

A very interesting visit and to learn about The Tyburn Sisters. They have a very productive vegetable garden and animals which makes them self sufficient.

Truly peaceful place in the middle of the bush, a Catholic Monastery by Benedictine Sisters, in Bombay, approx. 55 km south of Auckland Centre. The small church was very solemn and peaceful, with 9.30 AM Mass on Sunday, the surrounding area was really quiet and green, and if you want you can do a bush walk to the stream, behind the monastery. Something a bit unusual when we are talking about the busy and hectic Auckland big city scene is. No signage, or direction, so use your paper map, or Google Maps to find this place.

Solemn place

If you're a catholic and wanted some solemn place to pray and enjoy nature at the same time, Tyburn Monastery is a must see place. A very quiet place to reflect and say your prayers. They have Sunday morning mass with nuns in the monastery as the choir. You can also bring food for picnic and bond with family. This is mostly visited during Holy Week to observe the Lenten season
