Came here on a Sunday morning to watch the surfers. Some great and well-priced restaurants at the top to watch the surfers, however if you're surfing yourself you probably won't be there longer than an hour. If you're there, recommend Single Fin!

A praia sonho de dez entre 10 surfistas ao redor do planeta era o meu também! Mesmo sem aptidão para tal. Chega-se à praia depois de uma caminhada entre planícies de lava, e o acesso ao mar é por uma caverna que fica inundada com a subida da maré. Uma vacilada e fica-se bloqueado pela água! Na costa, enormes penhascos incrustados de coral afiadíssimo enquanto na água, tubarões e cobras d'agua e uma onda verde esmeralda.. Só essa ja valeu a viagem!

Well about this beach, it's very interesting to get there. I mean at least for me it's completely new and interesting. You have to walk down through heaps of cafes, bars and some little shops. Most of the bars and cafes have the view of the ocean and I think that's a great idea to have one there as well as to relax and enjoy a chilled beer. Now as you pass by these shops, cafes and bars not you will have to walk down some stairs and it's even more interesting because of cave like structure. I was like wow! And finally as you walk out from there you witness a beautiful view of ocean, sound of waves. It's small but lovely. So the journey to get there itself is so interesting and anticipating. I saw heaps of surfers there. The waves were a bit stronger but loved it. I think I loved the sound of waves there more because it echoes as it hits somewhere around the wall (or say cave like structure).

Lovely place with an epic view and a lot of things to do!
If you like the cliff view and strong wind & waves then you will be happy over there!
Great spot for a dinner or drink with the surfing peeps everywhere far in the ocean!

As most of Bukit beaches you need to go down the high cliff to get to the beach. To get in Uluwatu beach you even have to go through an amazing cave! Just make sure it is low tide, because during the high tide there is no access to the beach.

This had quite a hippy vibe, with colourful street art and a strong surfer crowd. Whilst the beach is beautiful I wouldn't recommend if for swimming, the tide was very strong and the water came in very fast. Whilst we were there we saw a number of tourists just walking out slightly for a photo and getting knocked over, one woman cut herself quite badly.

My favourite beach in uluwatu. After a bit of a climb down it’s an awesome beach with less tourists than the other beaches. It’s also a better swimming beach

The beach is very narrow and crowded. I did not feel it is worth to visit specifically. It is nice to see if you are already visiting the area.

Yes the same as above really. If you follow the road (Jl. Pantai Suluban) right until the end you will come to a dead end where there are some locals sitting around looking after a lot of scooters. (You will drive past The Istana) you will then take some stairs down towards the beach and go through a local village with shops. Other people accessed ot from Single Fin side I think. Hope this is useful.
