I think you can I saw someone with the wheelchair got on just right next to my cable car, you have to ask the staffs at the front door downstairs if you need their assistance, their very helpful.

There's carpark near the Taipei zoo station. From their website: "When you arrive at Taipei Zoo Station, please park your car at Underground parking lot at MRT Taipei Zoo Station, riverside parking lot, or Muzha Depot parking lot (only open on holidays), and then walk to the Maokong Gondola Taipei Zoo Station."

You can buy the pass at 7 Eleven’s or at MRT stations and is very easily available. If you have only two days, as the other two days you have booked tours, suggest you plan the days and then decide if you would like to buy one day pass or two days depending upon what kind of travel you plan to do. If not really cris crossing Taipei, you may not even buy one day but use as per travel tickets as they are not that expensive. Best discuss your travel plans and check at a MRT customer service staff at any MRT station

Yes, most of the Gondolas are not with a glass floor. Infact one in 5 are the glass floor ones

We were there recently (12th to 16th June), but we did not do the Taipei Zoo.

NTD, TWD = New Taiwan Dollars (or 'Taiwan Dollars', if you prefer. The reason I used TWD is that this is the FX (banking) acronym. whereas locals use NTD. Samo-samo, and apols for the confusion. As an aside - there are two queues for the gondolas: one for the "Crystal cars" (glass bottom variety) and one for "standard" ones. There is almost no queue for standard ones, but a long line for the "Crystal" ones. Personally, I would opt for the standard as the view is pretty similar (and most of the glass-bottom gondola floors are pretty badly scratched so the view downwards is quite limited). Oh. By the way. When you buy the ticket (which is at the building when the gondolas depart from - about 5 minutes walk from the MRT station: easy to spot) apparently you can use your MRT top-up card, instead of buying a new card. Not much $ but nevertheless a small saving. And PS: I loved the MRT trip to the Zoo station - get in the first carriage right up the front as the train is driverless and you can view the trip straight out the front window. Brilliant!
