Nice private day tour around Kaohsiung for 4 adults. We had planned beforehand places we wanted to see but had some flexibility for Andy’s suggestions too.
Andy provided great information about Kaohsiung and Taiwan in general. He was also very helpful with mobility needs in our group.

Andy is amazing! We hired him for 2 different trips during our travels to Taiwan in the summer of 2024. First we hired him for a day trip to Alishan from Kaohsiung and then we liked him so much we hired him for a 2 day Kenting excursion.
Andy speaks fluent English, is super prompt, and delivers exceptional service. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness is really what sets him apart from all other drivers. When we were in Alishan, he prepared fruits for us to enjoy at various times of the day. He even made us hot tea knowing the temperatures started to drop.
Andy's driving skills are phoenominal as well. I get car sick really easily and I did not feel sick once on any of the hairpin turns going to Alishan.
After we left Kaohsiung, we felt that all other drivers pale in comparison to Andy. Hence the kids called every driver "Not Andy." I would highly recommend Andy to any friends traveling to Taiwan who wants a custom itinerary. He knows all the great spots for snacks, food, restrooms, and sight. He knows lots of hidden gems as well.

Andy is amazing. He is highly communicative and can augment your itinerary so that you can make the most of your travel. He also knows the people who are in charge of each location I wanted to visit. This ensured a smooth entry into these places. He is thoughtful and prepares well. His car is clean and his driving is smooth.
This is my second time with Andy and I look forward to using his services again in the future.

We booked Andy to take us from Kaohsiung to the famous Yancheng Beehive Firework Festival in Tainan County. Andy's English is great and he is really friendly. His car is clean and comfortable. We decided to stay and enjoy the festival a bit longer than planned and Andy was happy to wait even though we ended up leaving around 2 in the morning! Would highly recommend booking Andy for any trip that requires a car in southern Taiwan.

We spent 2 days with Andy. Great private tour guide and driver. Went to Kenting area and had a excellent time. Andy also knows the best places to eat too. His car is comfortable and provided water too

We hired Andy to take the three of us to Maolin for a five hour tour. We had a wonderful day which included a well planned itinerary of several stops and locations. He was personable and knowledgeable about the area and history of the people. I would highly recommend that you check out this fabulous service. It was very cost effective when you consider the cost of a rental car and how stress free and easy the trip was. This tour included a hike so I would suggest comfy shoes and a few snacks. Andy is able tailor his trips to fit your needs.

My partner and I booked Andy for a private tour in and around Kaohsiung during a day's shore leave from our cruise ship. Andy was waiting for us at the cruise ship terminal, when we disembarked and asked where we wanted to go. We invited him to choose and were treated to an extremely enjoyable drive both within the city of Kaohsiung and further afield, taking in stops to visit temples and pagodas at Lotus Pond within the city and a vast Buddhist temple complex some distance outside the city. Andy proved to be very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour and his timing was impeccable, managing to avoid the worst of any traffic congestion. A particularly nice touch was the production at lunchtime of some fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice, which Andy had brought with him in a cool box, as well as some local peanut and dried seaweed snacks. Would highly recommend. At the end of the tour, it was helpful that Andy was happy to take part-payment in US dollars, when we exhausted our supply of Taiwanese new dollars.

We hired Andy as our guide and are really glad we did. It didn’t cost much more than it would have been to rent a car for the day and it was a much better experience. He took us to an area not in the usual butterfly place that had many more of the purple crow butterflies. He then took us to several other locations including a hike on a trail with the suspension bridge, Moon World - an area to view and hike in bad lands - and the Buddhist memorial. He also steered us to a terrific local place for lunch and helped us order. On top of all of this we had a chance to talk with him and enjoyed learning about him, his family and his country. Highly recommended!

My family of 3 adults had a great time on our day with Andy. He was a tour guide not just a driver taking us inside all our stops and explaining them. We followed his suggested plan of Lotus Pond, Taoist Temple, Buddhist Memorial Center, the Dome of Light, and the Wanshorshan Observation Deck. He provided us with snack and drinks and made sure we got to taste local foods we were interested in trying. I would recommend him.
