Sea Stack climbing with Ian was one of Ireland's most exhilarating and unique experiences. If you are a rock climber, whether avid or amateur, it is an amazing experience. The countryside and views are spectacular. Ian was the perfect guide with a wealth of knowledge about the people, land, and culture.

Ian is the best guide I have ever had. His candor, straight talk, and prepared for all things is impressive.
The spot we climbed is practically untouched. The whole experience makes you feel like you are the first to climb and experience this amazing natural beauty. I just hope nobody reads this so the spot can stay pure.

Iain was amazing, and this experience exceeded expectations. Me and my wife had no outdoor climbing experience but Iain took us to a sea stack which we climbed multiple routes on. If you are looking for an exciting adventure in a gorgeous location with an amazing guide, this is it. Also, you won’t see bus loads of tourists out here!
We highly highly recommend this for a unique experience in Ireland.

If your looking for something different to do in Donegal and totally out there go through Unique ascent, Iain is so confident in what he does and has a world of knowledge on climbing.
We climbed a sea stack and will definitely be back to do another one. We had excellent weather which really helped.

Great time with Ian climbing at Tor na Dumhcha. We were mainly beginners and Ian found routes to suit each of us. Brilliant views and found some spots that I will definitely return to!

We had a really great day climbing with Iain. We climb a lot in the UK but were't sure where to go in Donegal - especially with kids. Iain took us around a few different crags on Cruit Island which were exactly what we were looking for. Easy access to well protected anchors for top ropes, all on the beautiful Donegal coastline. Will definitely be getting in touch again for some sea stack adventures!

I had another fantastic day with Uniq Ascent! Not a first time and definitely not a last as I'm going to come back for sure for some other adventures!
Iain is the excellent private guide & instructor which customized a day to my needs and skills. The day arrangements were perfect from beginning to the very end. He is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and made sure I learn lots and have fun!
If you are hungry for adventure, beginner or very experienced, climber or hiker - you will have epic and memorable day with Uniq Ascent for sure.
I recommend Unique Ascent 100% .

We had an amazing time! Iain was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He found the perfect climbs to fit our skill level and we had zero concerns about our safety. The views were breathtaking and he gave us great recommendations on hidden gems to visit that we never would have found in our own.

I had a great time climbing with Iain by the sea! Since I was visiting from abroad, we communicated via email far in advance of my visit. He tailored the climbs to my level of experience and what I was hoping to get from the routes. I'd love to go back and climb with him again! So glad I found him!
