Visited Castle Glen last weekend to collect wine which was part of a picnic experience. Staff were very aloof and unfriendly. Not really interested in engaging with customers.
The red wine we received tasted like vinegar. We could not drink it!

Not to be missed
If u like liqueurs this is a must -
enjoyed the tasting and walked away with four different liqueurs
their knowedge was great and friendly and the tasting made it easy to choose which liqueurs to buy
would thoroughly recommend

Recently a girlfriend and I went for a stay up at Mount Tambourine & had to visit Castle Glen Cellars because it looked like a real castle! When inside there was so much selection and the staff were so accommodating we were able to do a few taste testers of the drinks we enquired about and we left with a bottle of each thing we tried. Have got their card to order online booze now, yay!

So glad we stopped by - an incredible selection of liquors and fortified spirits ranging from small 300ml to 2l bottles.
We were served by a friendly lady who offered us samples. Our curiosity was spiked by the ginger rum liqueur and the hot chilli fortified wine - both delicious and currently nestled amongst our baggage for the trip home.

A good experience, beautiful location, very good presentation and great options whatever your flavour. Service was very good and scored some great bargain Liquors.

Our must go to shop. Our favourite is Muskstick Liquor. Send a text to friends telling where I was, ended up buying 5 bottles to take home. It is sad that because of Covid there are no tastings but something to look forward to on our next trip.

What an amazing place this is!! I had a tasting of many liqueurs and purchased the strawberry, passionfruit (with pulp) and lemon and lime liqueurs. If I wasn’t traveling home by plane I would’ve purchased so much more. Luckily they have a website so I can order more online yaaay! As you can tell by my photo I have enjoyed almost all of the passionfruit liqueur. They don’t just sell liqueurs though, they sell cider and wine too! So many delicious products in store.
The lady who was in the store was what made visiting such a treat. So knowledgeable, friendly and inviting. Will definitely return next time we are in town and will be telling all my family and friends to visit this amazing place! Thank you for having us 😊🥂🍾

Other businesses could learn so much from Castle Glen. They produce quality products, happily provide free samples, and apply absolutely no pressure on customers to buy. Their products speak for themselves. And their staff are genial and patient.
I've been here twice in the last 12 months and on both occasions I have purchased some of their fine beverages. And I'm pretty sure that whenever I am in the Gold Costs region I will visit again.
Cannot review highly enough. Their range of products is enormous and if you can't find something to titillate your taste buds, I'd be very surprised.
