Beautiful trail used to access the Riverwalk Trail and also to get to the Narrows. I recommend a visit to this area of Zion.

This is a beautiful park at a scale that is hard to fathom. Take as many trails as you can. Ride the shuttle bus to save your feet. Arrive early and park free at the Visitor’s Center.

Beautiful. Accessing the trails was a little confusing when I was researching, so I want to write how we got there. Right pass Springdale, Utah you will come across the entrance to Mount Zion National Park. It is $35 entry fee per vehicle. When you enter you will try to find parking which is free but it fills up fast. We got there about noon and it took us driving around the parking lot a few times to find a place to park. Then you walk toward the visitor center where there are staff available to ask questions. You take the shuttle which is also free and the only way to access these trails--other than bike rentals, hiking, etc. The Temple of Sinawava Trail is the very last stop. Easy to hike and breathtaking views.

It was all awesome, can't wait to go back. Traveled from Texas to Vegas straight to Zion, was like a kid waiting to get to the toy store, my wife was wanting to go back the following month. The hardest thing to do after visiting Zion is deciding which near duplicate picture to delete.

The riverside hike was very easy along the Virgin River. Views of the canyon were beautiful. You have to go walk in the water at the top...even if you don't go up the Narrows

A very nice and easy hike, especially if you go first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds and heat. Just don't go up into the narrows (slot canyons) if there is any chance of thunderstorms!

The Temple of Sinawava is the unofficial ending point of Zion Canyon. Geologically the canyon goes further, but Sinawava is where it begins to narrow and where the modern road ends. The trail that begins at Sinawava is made up of two hikes. The first is the Riverside Walk Trail that is about 1 mile long (2 miles round trip) and is paved and mostly a pretty simple hike alongside the Virgin River. The second hike is one of the most famous hikes in Zion National Park and that is the Narrows hike. The Narrows follows the path of the river through Zion Canyon as it narrows into a slot canyon. The Riverside Walk is rated as an easy hike by the National Park Service, and the Narrows hike is rated as a strenuous hike. Do not attempt the Narrows hike if you have not prepared for it. or if there is a danger of flash flooding. The Temple of Sinawava is a really beautiful part of Zion National Park and I recommend at least a hike on the Riverside Walk. My son and I did the Riverside Walk to get to the Narrows and then we did a partial day hike into the Narrows. It was a great experience.

Absolument splendide, c’est une promenade assez facile. Très verdoyant , les falaises de chaque côté, on aperçoit les écureuils, les cerfs… un endroit paisible !

Really nice trail. Flat and paved in the beginning, so it's quite accessible. But then it stops being paved and becomes slightly more difficult (not a problem if you don't have mobility issues though). Very nice views along the river.
There are flush toilets at the beginning of the trail and good drinking water (it was turned off for winter when we visited, but it's available in the warmer months).

it seems to be the most famous trail to do in Zion, it is located at the end of the canyon, last stop for the shuttle.
But the way is very narrow, you have thousand people...in every direction, it is painful in fact !
when you will arrive at the end, in the river itself ! you must walk in the water, little bit fresh, if you have kids, be careful, sometimes the water could be deep (1meter). but there are really too many people....it is completely busy in fact. I don't understand why this river is "available" for all these people....By the way, you could see lower on the river, that there are bacteria, and don't drink water...or swing inside. That is normal ! with the pollution that you have in the river upper !!
But the nature is nice to see.

Hello, my family and I would like to hike to the narrows in January. I see the shuttle service is potentially not in use and you can drive your own vehicle along the scenic canyon drive. Is there parking at the Temple of Sinawava?
