Beautiful, easy to follow Walk from the Temples of Sinawava Bus Stop, this is a lovely walk along the Virgin River until you get to the Narrows where you have the choice of wading through the river to continue or turn around.
It's flat, but because of it's ease and viewing pleasure it does get very busy, so my suggestion would be to go early or late in the day to spend less time people dodging.

If you are looking for a paved scenic trail with no elevation gain in Zion then this is the place for you. If you do not enjoy crowds then maybe this is not the hike for you. The Riverside Walk is very crowded as all the people heading for the Narrows also use this trail .It is quite scenic and there are cool weeping walls with vegetation growing on the vertical walls of the canyon and the Virgin river is pretty as well. The sun rarely shines down in the bottom so it can be quite cool here especially in the morning.

Nice paved pathway. It’s mostly flat. A Mother mule deer walked through our group with her fawn in tow.

This walk leads you to The Narrows. It's very pleasant on a flat path and quite lovely to meander along the Virgin River between the majestic rock formations.

Beautiful hike to get to the Narrows hike. It is located at the last Zion shuttle stop on the scenic drive. It is definitely worth checking out. I recommend it.

We walked to the monastery from town (40 mins) then along the dusty road to Te Sharra restaurant (20 mins). Although a limited menu a lovely riverside location. Then we discovered a 2 km pathed walk along the far side of the river back to Peja. Scenic walk. You can detour back down into the town at various points. It might be hard to find the start if coming from town but walk along the southern side riverside walk and when it ends head up the hill and you should find the track. Local kids on bikes helped us out.

This is the first section of the Narrows where you walk on a path the point where there is no room along the canyon walls. If you cannot walk the Narrows due to high water or physical ability, this is a great trail to experience what it is like. We walked two different times. The first when we first got to the park when the Narrows was open but dangerous. The second was in a hard rain when it was amazing to see the river rise. Also there are a couple of waterfalls that were simply incredible to see the difference when it rains. Great way to see the canyon if you can't do the Narrows.

This paved path takes you to the entry point to hike the Narrows. Unfortunately, the day we were there, the waterflows were too high and we were unable to hike the Narrows.

The Riverside Walk is at the last stop on the Zion shuttle and everyone needs to get off the shuttle. The walk is mostly flat and paved. There are sections were there might be sand on the road. As the name implies, there is a river flowing next to your walk. This is the same river that created Zion canyons many millions of years ago. There are no picnic tables along the path but you are allowed to step off the path and sit on a log and have lunch. Many areas to wander closer to the water. Approximately 2.2 miles round trip.
Also on the walk you might notice rock climbers, very interesting. Depending on rainfall or snow melt, you will see flowers blooming from the side of the canyon walls and water dripping down the canyon rocks. At the end of the Riverside Walk is where the beginning of the Narrows hike begins but due to excessive snow melt the water flow is too high to permit Narrows hiking.

This was an easy trail with the purpose essentially being to get to the Narrows (which was sadly closed due to high flow). But lots of nature to see here. Very pretty trail.

We just did and it was great. We had our ski jackets on over regular clothes, hiking boots and we were set. I would still check the forecast and always stop at the visitor’s center to make sure something isn’t temporarily closed.

It would totally depend on the weather. It is a pretty flat walk, and if it’s not horrible weather, you can probably do it. I would not recommend you do the Narrows then as water would be quite cold!
