Amazing experience hosted by Sarah!
We ordered some tapas with the tasting and it was completely delicious and well served. The ambiance was beautiful and Sarah made the experience even better! We absolutely loved the wines and the experience.

Unexpected and totally blown away by the exceptional, genuine and down to earth beauty of Herdade da Comporta! Nestled between the sandy dunes, rice fields, the Atlantic Ocean and the Sado river you get carried away by the authentic and historical richness of the place. From local arte craft, to rice varieties, home accessories and especially amazing selection of wines and honey! Ah yes, wine…if lucky enough to be welcomed and get insights on the rich wine selection, impossible to deny a testing experience lead by Vera! Not only hospitable but also extremely knowledgeable and smily, Vera had the ability to storytelling the richness of the area…she clearly loves her job! Well done…

Very poor service from wine cellar sales counter! I wanted to buy a couple of bottles of wine, so drove up to the wine sales area. We had our dog in the car so my wife, daughter and dog waited in the car and I attempted to purchase some wine. The woman at the counter was engaged in conversation with someone but looked up and greeted me when I walked in. I chose my bottles from the shelf and placed them on the counter and waited for her to finish speaking so I could pay. She ignored me for at least 10 minutes while continuing her conversation. At no time did she even acknowledge that I was waiting for her. All this time I’m standing under a large air conditioner set to 30’ C, which does not give me much confidence in the way they are treating the 50 euro bottles sold at the counter. We won’t be back for tasting or buying more wine.
