Pre-booked this activity for my son and his friend (both 16) whilst we were on holiday.
Friendly staff, good , clear instructions and the boys enjoyed the activity.
They did end up going around the course 3 times as it is not very long and they were done quickly. Also the final zip wire is very short, which they weren't that impressed with, but for the price it was worth it.
The place is not well signposted, there is only 1 sign right off the main road and no further signs on the drive down to tree surfers. You follow the signs for the Tamar Trail. Also you have to pay for parking (£2) which I wasn't aware of and don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere on the website.

We arrived at the venue not realising that you had to pay to park (luckily it can paid online via RingGo). Received a warm greeting from the woman on the booking desk and my girls were given the harnesses. The man who took us to the trees though had zero personality, didn’t interact with us at all and then strided way ahead of us which was a little rude but also quite amusing. The girls were given clear instructions for the Big Zip and they headed off up the tree. My youngest who is 6 had to wait for ages though to get up the tree on her second zip wire session as the instructor had disappeared. There was also an issue at the end of the zip wire as it was difficult to unclip the girls, and I had to quickly find another instructor (the man with the awesome bubbly personality who clearly loves his job) to help us. However overall the girls had an amazing time, and we will definitely come back again. Lovely cafe too.

A must visit! We will definitely be back! We visited for a mummy-son weekend! Boys aged 10 & 9. Alex was amazing at assisting and helping build confidence. My boys have done similar before, so we were ok, but a other younger lad who was in our group was a little wobbly, Alex was so sweet with him and had him jumping off that zip wire in no time! I loved how he had little challenges to make it more difficult for them once their confidence was high, we really loved the pine cone archery! Great touch! Thanks Alex!

We visited today and completed the tree top walk. 2 adults and 2 teenagers and had a great time, albeit (for me) quite scary! We had tried to book the zip wire online but it wouldn’t let us we thought maybe it was fully booked) however, when we got there we asked about it, it was available and they had been having problems with their system.
Alex, Jay and Henry couldn’t have been nicer and were very encouraging and made us feel safe. We had a mini briefing for tree top then a practice of hooking and unhooking ourselves then off we went! Took around a hour to complete. Unlike some other reviews, we didn’t find ourselves in a queue there were only 9 of us in this group. We then had a drink in the cafe. Milkshakes were amazing then onto the zip wire. You have to literally climb up a tree. All safely harnessed in and with the amazing encouragement of Alex and Henry. You then throw yourself down the wire! Thrilling but scary. You get 2 goes at this. We all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to all staff including Poppy(?) who gave us such a welcome.

Fantastic- my 12 and 10 years old tried the junior course- my 10 year old was very nervous, but he did it and gained confidence with each go- he was zooming round by the end! They were very lucky to have the whole course to themselves and managed to do it 10 times in the hour. It was very reasonably priced and I think we were very lucky to have the place to ourselves. Staff were very polite and friendly too .

Just finished our archery session, it was absolutely amazing. Alex was so friendly and provided lots of advice on how to get a decent shot. I would highly recommend tree surfers for a fun day out and wanted Alex to get the recognition he deserves ☺️🏹

Amazing fun experience. Second time back for my now 12 year old. This time she completed all three courses.

I booked my teenagers (15 and 17) into Tree Surfers during our week in Devon. The instructor who did the initial briefing was very good and my children were looking forward to getting onto the course.
However, too many people were in each group and it meant A LOT of waiting around. My children were at the back of the group and didn't get onto the first section for about 20 minutes or so. There were members of staff dotted around but some seemed disinterested in their job.
As the courses were so busy, it took my children well over an hour to complete the first course. There was a long wait to start the second course so they went straight to the third. Again, they waited a long time to start due to the family in front being extremely slow. My teens found parts of this course challenging and not particularly enjoyable. We have visited much better high ropes courses and wouldn't return or particularly recommend. However, considering there are three courses to complete, it is good value for money.

We visited the junior tree top walk, we were very disappointed, maybe we have been spoilt, having gone to go ape in a couple of places. The course was so short and no real variety on the walkways. My children spent more time waiting on a platform than actually walking across bridges. They were bored. I would probably suggest course is for 4-7year olds. The zip wire was so slow aswell. We have been to places that have 3 different routes so if one looks busy you just clip on to a different one at bottom of the steps.
The guy supervising did a good job.
I really like tree top places as an activity and this junior course has got the potential to be much more exciting with some more work.
