Came here with Steve from Barefoot Charters Bermuda in a private excursion for 3 hours on the water. It was awesome! We pulled up to the cliffs right from the water. Swam over. Easy swim and steps to get to the top. Three different jump heights. Did it again and again. Probably best cliff jumping we have done (and we travel a lot!) due to the easy out. The limestone steps and caves make it so simple to get out of the water, and that is often not true with cliff jumping. Saw young kids here with their parents. Bring water shoes. The steps can be a little rough and that foot protection will help you enjoy it more.

We had such a fun experience jumping from the cliffs! We arrived early via bus. From Hamilton they are scheduled every hour. We didn’t see anyone else in the first hour. But then it got a lot busier!
We started in the cove to try snorkeling and swimming. It was very peaceful there. A small beach too. But there were too many minnows for our liking! It seemed liked there were about a million ++++!
We then went to the cliffs for jumping! There were multiple levels to jump from- all of them fun!!!! Then you swim over to a cave with steps. Easy to get up. The water is so blue! Definitely a highlight of the trip. There were a lot of people jumping, so you could see where to jump from and where to go.
But of advice- leave wedding rings and watches at home. But if you have your rings on jump with a closed fist. A few people lost watches and I would hate for anyone to lose their rings.

This beautiful out-of-the-way gem of a park and beach definitely was not geared towards a local attraction, so when we got here, we were definitely able to enjoy our visit. There were people here enjoying the park and the beach, but it was more of a local crowd (enjoying a late lunch, hanging on the beach). The small beach was enjoyable to walk on, and get in the shallow, calm lagoon area.
On the other side of the hill area surrounding the lagoon area was an absolutely beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Royal Navy Dockyards. While there, a privately owned catamaran sailboat pulled up to the small dock, so their occupants could enjoy a beach visit.
There is some walking on a moderately steep grade down and up that is unavoidable to get down to the park and beach area, so be warned. However, at the top near the entrance before heading towards the grade, there were still gorgeous views to be had.
Definitely a good place to visit if you can get there!

This was a cool opportunity to do some cliff jumping! Nothing is marked at the park so we walked some of the trails trying to find the jumping spot. If you like hiking the trails were nice. Eventually we discovered the jumping spot and had a blast!

This is a gem for cliff diving and snorkeling. I'm so glad we didn't skip this spot on our trip. Water shoes are a definite must to climb up to the higher cliffs.

If your looking for adventure be sure to stop by this park. There was cliff jumping, caves to explore and beach to enjoy. Everyone we met was so friendly and gave us tips on different ways to enjoy the park.

We found this place after asking several taxi drivers where they go with their kids. One finally suggested that this was his kids favorite place to go cliff jumping. It's a park, but there are no facilities (well, one porta potty) - a little parking and a path down to the water. The cliffs run along the water and you can decide how high you want to jump from - starting at maybe 3 meters and going up to maybe 7-8 meters. What makes it really special is that they (I guess the british) had cut a dock and steps from the sea level into the cliff, so its easy to climb out and walk up the steps to do it again. Remember its all coral so do be careful and don't expect a vanila disney experience. You might get hurt! You might have fun without signing a waiver! Go for it!!! There is a beach area around the corner and it looked like local kids were there for a camp. Several boats arrived from Hamilton while we were there also.

There are hints to when this was a military installation. Tunnels 160 years old and a cave system with gun ports. Lots of land and 2 beaches. One bigger and protected with no waves and if you hike a tiny isolated beach. Tennis court on the side and a hidden picnic table overlooking the site under trees. No facilities and located in a residential area. So, bring water and an empty bladder. Great views. Stay away from the collapsing community center. People "hang" out back there.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Bermuda, at least when I was there, only locals were present. Beautiful views, clear water with a lot of cliffs to jump from, depending on your preference. Also very cool sea caves to see.
To get there take bus number 4 from Hamilton. The only drawback is that buses, especially on Sunday is very limited, and there are no taxis present as it is a mainly residential area.
Very beautiful; would strongly recommend, even just to appreciate the scenery.

Jump off the rocks or from the dock. Wear sneakers and swim where neighbourhood children swim.
Safe. No big waves.
No bathroom or changing area. On bus route.

Hi there. I have mobility issues, but would love to watch others cliff jump. Do you have to walk down to see or can you see enough from where a taxi would drop you? I just can’t do a sloped path.

From the parking area and where a taxi would drop you off it's a decent walk downhill. It's not very long but the road is a bit steep from what I remember.

I've seen people jump in spots but as usual check the water out first by swimming there. Never risk anything or go head first

How far is the walk from where you are dropped off by bus/taxi or can park a scooter? Also, is the path to the cliff clearly marked or do you have to do some searching? Thank You!

It's a short walk to the cliffs but it's pretty steep. Everything is clearly marked and easy to find.

I would not recommend admiralty park for cliff diving with a child. Yes, the locals do it, and I have done it as an adult, but would not let my 12 year old son do it. It is a very high jump, and especially for a boy, he would need to be careful about how he jumps to avoid pain in certain areas. Instead, I would recommend the smaller cliff jump at Blue Hole Park. You can take bus 8 from Hamilton and get off at Grotto Bay Resort. Then walk across the street to the entrance to Blue Hole. From there, follow the path for a while until you see a meadow in front of you and the path curves to the left. When you get to the next meadow, head to your right. You will see a dock. If you go up into the woods for a bit, you will see a cliff on your left. This is an easy high jump into Blue Hole. It is very safe and is what I would let my own 12 year old son do. He can swim to the dock or the shore to get out. Bonus: it's also a great place to see some caves (just please make sure you don't wear sunscreen while in cave water or kick up sediment - to protect cave life.)

Hi,
We plan on visiting Bermuda next year for about 4 days. Is this enough time/ What do you recommend for a family with 12 year old and older teens/young adults? Can we be safe just renting bikes (not mopeds)....is the whole island do able on a regular bike?
Diana
เขียนเมื่อ 29 ธันวาคม 2017
Hi Diana, the island is doable and enjoyable in 4-5 days and there is plenty of things do that are low cost and no cost; the island is very safe overall, however for travelling around the island on bicycles or walking is not recommended as the roads are narrow and jaggid and many roads do not have sidewalks or pathways. The bus system is decent and most economical for a family or group. Bus drivers and cab drivers are very friendly and helpful. Also, look up "Twizzy cars in Bermuda" as this may be a fun and cute way to get around the island for a day, and is an alternative to mopeds or car rentals as travellers (unless you hold an actual Bermuda drivers license) are prohibited from renting cars, and mopeds are only good for people that are experienced really, and this is for everyone's safety. A few things to look into and plan on doing that cost $: Jet-Skiing (there is an early bird morning special, and group rates so look into this ahead of time and make reservations - $115/person (Somerset Watersports is the best one)), Crystal Caves - about $22/person for admission. Low cost is the Royal Naval Dockyard (#7 and #8 buses go out here frequently but always ask the bus driver when you get on the bus to make sure) for walking around seeing the old naval base and picking up souviners. At the Dockyard, there is glassblowing, swimming with dolphins ($$$$) and restaurants and cafes at the Dockyard as well. Other low to no cost is to pack swimming goggles and snorkel sets, maybe watershoes for everyone (just go to Walmart) and go snorkeling as there are plenty of shipwrecks and coral reefs to swim around and enjoy for a day at the beach. You have to visit Admiralty House, which is a beach and cliff jumping - amazing and the teens/pre-teens and you will love it here. Buses go out here to Admiralty House but it is in Spanish Point and bus schedules are reduced to this part of the island as it is not as busy. Downtown Hamilton is fun to walk around and see the shops. Devils Isle is a nice cafe with nice eats and yummy fresh iced teas, The Pickled Onion is a great restaurant on Front Street with an outdoor second floor patio that looks over the water, good food, ok prices and reallllyyyy nice to sit out there to eat and enjoy the views of the harbour, boats, ocean, and cars and people zipping by on Front Street. Hope this helps :)

Me again. How do you get from Clarence cover to deep bay beach? Any tips?

Any chance of getting here with a wheelchair?
เขียนเมื่อ 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2017
Yes.... with a proviso - There is a 400 yard downhill cement path in mediocre condition. By my recollection you could wheel down to the dock. You would need to be a wheelchair athlete of substance, brave on the way down and cardiovascular achiever on the way home. Alternatively you would want a buddy who could push you up hill maybe rising 150 ft in 400 or so yards. There is a small beach and a dock. If you have some mobility maybe you could jump off the dock, swim up to the beach and get a helper to get you settled back in the chair.
I wouldn't recommend this for elderly or severely disabled. It would be a significant effort and an adventure.
I identify with this in some way, I spent 2 yrs or so on crutches. I am relatively hearty, and didn't go to Admiralty Park. I did jump into pools and walk around with my frame on. So... take above as a possible. have a helper make the walk first and give you advice.
There are two paths. One has stairs that maybe tou can not avoid. The other is an old roadway with no stairs but quite broken up concrete. I would take the old road. It is off of the parking lot. The stairs are behind the Bermuda Sub Aqua Club building. The club never bothered with a fitness test. If you carried your dive kit up and down the stairs, you were fit.
I say all this by way of warning, or encouragement if you really want an adventure.

One review stated to take a ferry straight from the cruise ship dock. Does the ferry take you straight to Admiralty? Does the ferry return hourly or for you if requested? We have a group of nine, can we ride together? Any other info would be wonderful!
