Firstly before going into further details I must say we had a fantastic time on this trip and it was well worth the fee. We would do this again without hesitation.
However we had an issue that was least partially of our making. At the first snorkelling spot there were several boats and parties and unbeknownst to us at the time a sister ship with the same design and hull colour. The groups got slightly mixed and somehow we ended up getting back on the sister ship. We realised pretty much immediately and informed the crew. The crew were fantastic and very helpful but our boat had moved off to the next stop with all our gear including towels and sunscreen. To make matters more complicated they were unable to find a suitable place at the next stop so proven to their 3rd spot whilst we were at the second. We were eventually transported back to the correct boat and reunited with our belongings just in time for an excellent lunch before completing our tour.
Once the mix up was spotted the crew of both ships acted professionally and with great courtesy.
However a couple of points to be considered.
Why have two almost identical boats in the same place at the same time?
Should the Captain of our original boat have known there were two passengers missing and not left without them?

Spent the day out on the water. Two snorkel stops and some other swim time off the end of the boat. Catamaran was in top shape, and food was above expectation for a boat (chef did fish, chicken, shrimp - and did it well - all on one plate)

This is a MUST catamaran. The crew was so fun and helpful. They were very nice! Shoutout to Ricardo and the rest of them who helped us out in the water! The drinks kept flowing, and the food was AMAZING. So fresh and authentic to the island. This is definitely worth the money if you want to get out further into the water and see the turtles! Also, you will see other sides of the island from the catamaran! I will be back on board the next time I visit the island!

What a fab fun filled day. My kids 16, 17 and 23 absolutely loved it from start to finish. The crew made the atmosphere the second we boarded with fun welcoming banter, great music, drinks on tap and delicious food. The snorkeling wasn’t incredible, bit too many people and not enough fish, one turtle swimming away! But the day, the vibe, the dancing, the fun was fantastic.

The crew was so nice, they engaged with everyone on the boat. Kadeen was kind enough to go into the ocean with me as I do not know how to swim! Keon and mark were both amazing too! The food was so good, especially the banana bread and carrot cake! It started to rain on the way back in but we stayed out on the deck and it was a surreal experience! Drinking rum on a boat in the rain with my closest friends!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

Just had the most amazing day on cool running’s body. Friendly crew beautiful scenery, food and great rum punch. I highly recommend everyone to take this experience. I’ve never snorkelled in the sea before but the calm waters and guides in the water made my experience 10/10. Thank you

Fantastic day had by all the Comar/McAddey family. From being pick up at the hotel, checking in, getting on board the cat·a·ma·ran. Polite staff from beginning to the end of your day out. Absolutely not to much. Drinks and food provided all through out. Great with the kids. All in all very attentive staff. Highly recommend taking the trip

This was the highlight of our trip. We went on the sunset tour and it was unbeatable. The atmosphere is great, drinks flowing, music pumping and the sun out. The snorkelling was great. We say turtles, stingrays and plenty of fish. The crew are in the water and directing you on where to swim to see as much as possible.
The crew are definitely the highlight of the tour, we had Mark and Renaldo onboard Cool Runnings II, and they were amazing. They made everyone feel like part of the family and couldn’t have done more to make the trip incredible. If you are going to Barbados, you have to go on the Cool Runnings boat tour!

We had an amazing day today on Cool Runnings III. The whole experience was awesome! Not too many people on the cruise, just enough for you to have your own little space and to meet others. The staff are so passionate and make the whole experience worthwhile. Saw a stingray instead of turtles. I had vegetarian food which was ok. They accommodated to different dietary needs.i heard that the other food was great. The drinks flowed throughout the trip. I absolutely loved the dancing towards the end. I have to say that the staff were so outstanding!

A wonderful day trip in beautiful Barbados’ Carlisle Bay. The catamaran was well cared for and the crew was incredibly helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed and appreciated the crew members Keon and Captain Christopher.
Keon took the time to personally show us how to use the snorkel equipment and swam beside us and helped us find great sights. We saw many colorful tropical fish and a few stingrays amid a variety of coral reefs and sunken ships.
We were entertained by the crew’s enthusiasm and love of the open waters.
Even the food and drink were very tasty. I would highly recommend Cool Running tours to anyone interested in having a great experience while in Barbados.

Is Friday or Saturday the best day for this lunch cruise? Celebrating a birthday with friends we’re all in our mid 30s and they are looking for music and party vibes.

I think we went on monday :) any day of the week is great with them.We saw them next day from the beach in Savvy and music was lound-only catamaran with music :)

Is there a safe place to leave your bag while snorkeling? Is there a photography service in this experience or are phones safe?

It is only a fairly small group on the boat, but I am never very comfortable leaving my stuff just sitting there in my beach bag while we are in snorkeling. There isn’t a secure place to put things, so I generally just bring the absolute necessities with me, minimal cash. There didn’t seem to be any problems, though. Everyone left bags and phones on their seats and tables.

Can children aged 13 and 9 (nearly 10), both very good swimmers snorkel and swim without a life jacket? Many thanks.

Our trip did have some kids on it, everyone wore a type of PFD while snorkeling. The device was not a full Life jacket, like what you wear when boating.

We booked a couple of days after arrival. You have plenty of time. The cost would deter most ... I'd pay 2 hundred more for it ... That much fun!
