Beautiful area of natural beauty. Haven't seen anything quite like it before. Well worth visiting and even a short walk is rewarding.

This review is specifically on the Tregaron Cors Caron museum and red kite centre in the old Tregaron school as it does not have a TA entry. It is well worth a visit, containing fascinating local history artefacts, an old schoolroom, information on the Cors Caron reserve PLUS a beautiful sewn tapestry depicting scenes from Welsh folk life. The volunteer ladies were charming and we really enjoyed talking to them and sampling tea with home made Welsh cakes.

Armed with binoculars and map, we followed the well marked path to the Bird Hide. It took us - two pensioners - half an hour to get there, only to find a "Path Closed" sign fifty yards from the hide. WHY wasn't there a notice at the start to tell us this instead of us wasting an hour on an exhausting walk to a closed attraction? It was a windy day when we went and we saw one heron, one mallard and heard a blackcap. Great! We won't be back!

We have enjoyed walking the short trail this morning with the dog.
Easy to find and park, all free.
3 different trails but we opted for the short trail,just over an hour. Information boards as you walk the trail, beautiful views, hide was closed. Clean environment. Most enjoyable

A real beauty spot to enjoy a good walk. We only did the boardwalk,it should take no more than an hour but we stopped many times for photos because it was so scenic so it took us about 1.5 hours. We stopped for a while to see the horses. They were very friendly and loved the attention. There are also 2 photo posts on the way around to take scenic shots. Its is great for anyone in a wheelchair because it a flat boarded path all the way around. The car park has toilets as well. Will definitely return.

Good parking and toilets. Very well maintained with interesting walks. Binoculars would be useful. Visited several times throughout he year - never disappointed.

This attracts everyone from the casual non expert birdwatcher (me) to the professional. There is a good car park and toilets. You have a couple of miles of easy walking along paths. Bring a packed lunch or failing that Tregaron is just down the road with plenty of eateries.

Choice of paths and distances, reasonably well maintained. Good parking.
Needs bins for dog poo though as that can be an issue sometimes.

We took the short walk through the nature reserve but there are longer ones. Most of the walk was on a wooden boardwalk so was very easy. It was lovely to look at the marshes and plants but unfortunately we didn't see much wildlife, very enjoyable though.

Interesting walks and board walks over the marshy pools to the bird hides by the lakes and marshes.. This is a huge area with a diverse range of birdlife and plants. There are different trails which vary in length and difficulty as well as an old railway trail . The signage and info boards are clear and informative, peaceful and interesting. Would be good to have guided tours here .

Yes but keep under control if you take the boardwalk. Dog will also need to be under control on the riverside walk
