Visited the town and knew that this excellent shop/ gallery and we discovered that it also had a Celtic art museum area which kept as occupied and warm for a while. Unfortunately besides walking around the town area there was little else to do. We had hoped to visit the adjoining church but were disappointed to find it closed.

The two shops work as one. A wide range of wonderful gold and silver jewelery that is made in Wales. Sadly the cafe is a victim of the times. The large gallery spaces were filled with high quality paintings, cearmics, carved wood, books, etc. etc. Almost no 'tourist tat' to be seen. A very good range of Welsh language books abd cards in addition to the English language items. A pleasant surprise to see so much quality craft and art work in one place. A small museum of the origins of Celtic Art added to the experience.

Ignore the previous review, clearly written by an idiot. This is a lovely art gallery and welsh gold and silver jewellery maker and seller. We thought the selection of art on display was top class, a shame all our walls are already covered with prints and paintings! Tourist tat this is definitely not!!

We had been led to believe there would be lots of crafts people making and selling things here. Instead, it was a shop selling the usual tourist tat. There was an embarrassed looking woman doing something with a piece of silver behind a plate glass window but that was it.
The museum upstairs of local artefacts was the best thing about this place. The goods being sold were 20% more expensive than you can get elsewhere and clearly designed for coach parties.

Regular exhibitions of local artists' work in the galleries upstairs. Local crafts and gifts with a nice and friendly cafe off a small courtyard on the ground-floor. Rhiannon's jewellery is fabulous but not cheap - you do get what you pay for, so start saving.

Stopped here to look at the jewelry and discovered a store with local crafts, jewelry, cards, souvenirs, and a coffee shop (did not got to coffee shop). Lots of selection and worth a stop while traveling through this sleepy town. Free toilets too..!!

I thought this was a small village shop with an attractive window,but it was much much more than that.
The lovely shop selling Christmas decorations and nice unusual gifts was really the doorway to a large art gallery on the upper floor, beautifully set out with a large selection of art.

Every December we holiday just outside Tregaron, and every year we visit Rhiannon. Invariably we find good quality, tasteful, crafts and gifts that mean we can give our friends and relatives something that little bit different for Christmas - but not naff and souvenir-y. Unusual Christmas decorations have found their way into our own home, too!
Prices vary, of course, from just pennies to many pounds, depending on the nature and quality of the goods on offer, but there is truly something to suit every pocket
The shop is well laid out, and unhurried browsing the order of the day. The staff are friendly and - if needed - approachable; but if you just want to browse, you will not be disturbed.
Well worth a visit.
